We stayed for the first week of the season and found the hotel to be very clean, modern and well kept.

It is located on the edge of the resort with a 10 minute walk to the centre, where there are plenty of restaurants and a couple of bars. There is a supermarket over the road which is very well stocked and the beach is across a footpath, however it was not the best in our opinion. The pool area was lovely with plenty of sun beds, some full sun, some in the shade, all immaculately kept.

The room we stayed in was very spacious with a modern bathroom and twin beds, we found the mattresses a bit too firm, but perhaps that is because we are used to a softer bed. It was equipped with a kettle, cups, teaspoons, glasses and the all important hairdryer. We were located near to the kitchen and there was some early morning noise that disturbed our lay ins along with the bell ringing which came from the owner's dog at around 6 am every day. He is a lovely old boy that has a goat type bell fitted to his collar. Hearing it so early in the morning though made us think that Santa was was on his way!

The room was cleaned to a very high standard, however the balcony door was left open every day (after we had left it shut), allowing mosquitos to enter and we did get bitten during the night. Also the cleaner liked to re-arrange items around the room and on the dressing table daily, which was slightly annoying.

Breakfast was included, which was buffet style, with an adequate selection of hot and cold food. No toast though! On the morning we checked out we were given a packed one, due to our 7.00 am pick up, which was a nice touch. However on opening the ham and cheese sandwich, we found the bread was so stale that it was inedible. The seagulls on the ferry seemed to enjoy it though.

Overall we had a really good stay and will definitely return to the Blue View Hotel if the price is right in the future.

Have just returned from a last minute weeks stay here with friends. Really lovely place so clean and beautiful decor. Ria and Andreas great hosts with nothing too much trouble. Great location short walk into main town with lots of lovely tavernas and so friendly. Highly recommend.

I'm not going to repeat all the good things people have said about the Blue View as they are mostly correct as we had a lovely holiday and were glad we selected this hotel.

There were two small negatives I found here which made me only rate it 4*.

Breakfast: exactly the same every day, unless prepared to peel fruit the only option with the Greek yoghurt and honey was tinned fruit salad or tinned peaches - yuk. The other half would have liked a toaster and the machine coffee was average.

Cleaning Ladies: very pleasant and most efficient, actually too efficient. Prior to going out one evening spent 10 mins looking for the other halfs belt which was eventually found hanging over the rail in the wardrobe behind a jacket, is someone trying to tell us we're untidy. If I left my make-up bag open it was zipped up every day. But what annoyed me the most was other half thought he'd lost his reading glasses and for 3 days struggled or borrowed mine until one evening I went into the draw where he had his underwear and spotted a sunglasses case, which should have been empty, had a pair of glasses sticking out. For some inexplicable reason the cleaner had taken it upon herself to put them away. I have two objections to this, 1 leave things where they are and 2 please don't go in the drawers where we have put our belongings. Also some people see things differently and I wouldn't like these nice ladies to be accused of something untoward which I feel they are leaving themselves open to.

That said I would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: All rooms have sea view.

A last minute week away has been a fantastic break with friends.
The rooms are very clean, beautifully furnished, with modern shower rooms, fridge and balcony.
Ria and Andreous are hard working and will help with any questions.
The grounds and pool are exceptionally clean and very pretty, the beach bar is handy with additional new toilet facilities.
Breakfast is great, always more than enough to choose from.
Cannot recommend this hotel enough.
