Just got back from the Pad. Great place to stay. The Pad was very close to everything- beach, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. James was very helpful from booking the Pad and sending us information about the resort. I would recommend the Pad strongly to family and friends..

Just spent 5 days at the pad and had an absolutely great time. James has provided so many extras that it made our time there stress free.
Extras such as beach towels, all beach stuff such as umbrella, chairs, sun tent for babies, even a shopping trolley to carry it all!
Then inside we had a bed guard, door gates, travel cot, highchair, toys, cutlery etc for kids. Sure I have forgotten things but it was great to not have to worry about bringing it all.
Pool was 100 yards away and kids loved it.
Roof terrace was great for bbq and evening drinks when kids were finally asleep!
Local restaurants only 5 min walk and beach 10. Food shops also lots to choice from.
We did have a car as had been else where before and did make it easier when coming off beach in midday sun with 2 young kids but I don't think a necessity if only staying at the pad.
Thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable!
The Pad is a great holiday home. It had everything you need and has been finished to a very good standard. The owners use it for their own holidays so it has been looked after well.
We stayed with 3 boys, aged 8, 10 and 12. They loved the shared pool in the complex - great chance to make friends. We appreciated the fact that there is a lifeguard (although everyone was keen to use the pool before he arrived each day, so they could use the banned lilos and also jump in!). It felt safe because it's a gated complex.
The house comes with sun loungers, etc so it was really handy. When we discovered that the beach umbrellas were broken, the agent/manager very promptly went out and bought some more for us - excellent service.
We spoke to other people staying in houses on the complex and their places weren't finished to the same standard and didn't have all the equipment, bedding and towels that we had. Or even air con! Showed us how fortunate we were to have such a good place. They then booked The Pad for next year!
We stayed without a car and it was fine. You use the shopping trolley to carry stuff back from the local supermarket (all those bottles of water!) and it's fine as long as you buy stuff every day or two.
Everything you need is within walking distance. We enjoyed walking to the old town area - beaches are a bit quieter and it's a bit cheaper and less obviously touristy. There is a lovely old hotel - very colonial in style, with an open terrance in the middle of the building. Had gorgeous tapas there.
If you go to the main beach area there is a wonderful inflatable in the sea which the kids loved jumping all over.
The main strip of restaurants is good - we enjoyed curries at the Argy Bargy! And the younger kids enjoy riding the motorised animals up and down the strip!
If you just want to take it easy then you can easily relax in and around the house, reading, making the most of the excellent air con. But the kids can splash around and play outside.
All in all, a great family holiday. Not too overly touristy but everything you need on tap. Thanks to the owners and manager for a great time.
