The villa is very modern but still has a homely feel to it, the maid keeps it very clean and comes most days to make sure everything is ok or to ask if we needed anything but at the same time she is polite and is respectful of your privacy. The maintenance man is also just a phone call away if needed and is very prompt. We sent him a message late one night just to let him know the pool lights had not come on and if he could look at them when he came next, he pulled up on the drive within 5 minutes!
Ismini is nicely furnished with everything you could ever need. The villa is fully air conditioned but we only used it at night to sleep as the villa is very cool and there is always a lovely breeze. Large patio with tables, chair and sun loungers, the pool is lovely we found it just a tiny bit too cold but then again it's a welcome cold when it is so hot.
A real feature of the villa is it's partly covered outdoor large kitchen and BBQ area to the side, which has a large BBQ with spit, full size fridge freezer, sink and a pizza oven which is great if you go slightly out of season and you may have the odd rainy patch you can still sit outside and enjoy outdoor eating and living or just to get out of the direct sun whilst dining.
Just 2-3 min walk is your nearest supermarket and there are 2 more further down near the sea front. There is a bakery a bit further down from the first supermarket. To walk to the seafront took no more than 15 mins and that was in flip flops! We did hire a car as we like to explore and had no trouble parking this at the villa, behind the electric gates lies a parking area big enough for possibly 3 cars.
The view from the front top balcony of the main bedroom was one of our favourite places to sit in the evening and watch the sun set behind the mountain. We found that this villa was very competitive on price compared to other villas near by and we loved this villa so much we are back again this year and this time we are getting married.
