Spent two nights at this well maintained, creatively decorated, comfortable homestay with all the necessary amenities and more. Comfortable beds, spacious and clean bathrooms, two inviting verandas to spend your time having tea and adda with other guests and the hostess, who caters to your specific needs. Freshly made breakfast, with interesting culinary delights at dinners. Lots of advice given for spending quality time in and around Shantiniketan. And of course the peaceful, restful location and atmosphere of Chita Koti are an added delight.

We spend the last weekend at Nayanas Homestay. It was a great relaxing break ... both the rooms are well decorated with paintings and artifacts, nice antique furniture at the drawing room and overall a cozy atmosphere. Nayana is a great host to keep the guests engaged. Highly recommended this boutique homestay at beautiful Santiniketan

We chose to go after considerable deliberation on whether or not Santiniketan was worth a trip, and I'm glad we did. The place is fabulously decorated. Although Nayana was away the two days we were there, she helped us put together an itinerary for the day and the resident caretaker took care of our needs, including fetching lunch / dinner from a local provider and preparing an excellent breakfast. Our little one loved it too :)

Beautiful getaway from Kolkata. Peaceful doesn't describe the place fully. Wake up to chirping of birds and have a look at the big trees as the sleepy, semi bucolic surroundings slowly wakes up to another day.

Nayana is a well informed gracious hostess and one cherishes the evening chats with her either on the terrace or the verandah.

Maku the one woman staff blends with the environment and is totally non obtrusive.Food is outsourced and is a mixed bag.

Delightful place overall

Nayana's Homestay is a delightful, charming experience in this world famous cultural and artistic town. Generous hospitality, sumptuous breakfasts made my Maku or Nayana and a huge variety of Bengali delicacies to choose from. The red dust and villages add to the quirkiness of the arty atmosphere, which is reflected in the decor of Nayana's Homestay. Worth repeat visits for the full experience.
