The house is beautiful and spacious. Well equipped for self catering with good quality kitchen equipment and plenty of matching plates, dishes and glasses. Rayburn stove provides background heat and did a good job although there were some fumes. Long, fenced front garden was ideal for dogs and would be great for children. The position is magic with views across to Mull and sightings of ferries as we tackled a (provided) jigsaw in the dining room. Open fires kept us cosy at night. Mull ferry in walking distance and there is a small shop and post-office, also in walking distance, which stocks a reasonable range of goods including food. We also enjoyed visiting the Community Garden shop and had a superb meal delivered by Sanna Spice one evening.
This awesome house is on a large lot with beautiful views across the Sound of Mull to the Isle of Mull. House was clean, well equipped, and fully prepared for our arrival. Could not ask for more. It is obvious by the personal touches and care that this house is loved by its owners, who also use it as their vacation home. If you are headed to Kilchoan, stay here. In addition, the Kilchoan Hotel, just down the road, had great food and a friendly staff and patrons.
