The B&B is a beautiful; a typically Dordogne built traditional home run by the Coggers who are wonderful hosts. They were both lovely people who gave us the room to feel completely at home for the 11 nights we stayed. The breakfasts were top notch; warm croissants and home made jam, ceareals and yogurts, good coffee and fresh fruit. Perfect.
The room we were given was so lovely, thoughtful touches such as flowers from the garden when the room was cleaned. There is a really good BBQ area - which we used a few times - nestled under the trees. The pool is very well maintained and super clean, sitting reading a book with scents of lavender wafting over you to a back drop of cicadas and rustling leaves is the most relaxing past time.
Near to Sarlat, the B&B is rural retreat that perfectly placed for almost every activity on offer locally (there is a huge amount to do from canoeing to Château’s to gorgeous gardens).
In all a fabulous and very special holiday.
Can’t recommend enough
Theresa and James are not only extremely welcoming and warm, but they really made us feel as if we were at a close friends' place!
The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and comfortable, the house and garden absolutely charming, the French breakfast delicious, and we would always get the perfect tip to make the best of our day.
If we have the opportunity to go back to the Sarlat area, we'll definitely go back to Theresa and James'!
