On 14th instant I along with family friends(total 10 members) have got train 'Lakhikantapur Local' from Sealdaha Station at 9.16am. and have reached Jaynagore Station on 10.45am. and have taken Auto for Neempith Ramkrishna Mission, approx. time taken half an hour and we have visited the Mandir and took 'BHOG' as lunch and after then by hiring cars we have started journey for Kaikhali Dwip which was 30 km. away from Neempith .After one and half hour of journey we have reached Kaikhali Guest House managed by Ramkrishna Mission. The road condition was not so good. The double bed room charge is 1100/- per day including breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, dinner and tea for 3 times. Fish and chicken are available at lunch or dinner. The room is specious but no AC and hot water available. The room service is not available. Some power service disturbance is there. But you can get power from guest house generator up to 10pm. It will be better to carry one torch and candle. on the afternoon we have visited bank of MATLA river, the experience was beautiful. Vastness of Matla river cold wind of that, attracted us very much. On the evening we have seen 'Arati' of a small Ramkrishna Mission. In the evening we have nothing to do only enjoying by talking each other. The next morning we have hired a Machine boat and went to 'Jhorkhali' of Sundarban and time taken 2 hours to reach. In Jharkahli we have seen Royal Bengal Tiger under rehabilitation programme, crocodile, different types of butterfly etc. After spending one hour time at Jharkhali we return back to Kaikhali by the same boat. The boat rent was Rs.1000/-. The next day after having lunch we have return back to Kolkata in the same way. This tour is beautiful as week end tour. Everything is calm and quite there.

We came back from Sunderban a couple of days back. It was indeed an overwhelming trip. The mangrove topography itself is outstanding and certainly gives one a learning experience. We stayed at Sajnekhali tourist lodge as we prefer tranquillity. However, we planned our launch safaris with Sundarban Nature Club and we didn’t do any mistake by doing that. Mr Prabir Pal, the owner of Sundarban NatureClub along with Guide Animesh Giri familiarized us about Sunderban, its flora, fauna and of course about people who lives there. They also informed us about the incessant animal human conflict across the region. This orientation was something that we were looking for. It was valuable indeed. The other staff members were very cooperative too. I would recommend Sundarban NatureClub as an ideal option for both tourists and travellers.

If you crave to experience a true mangrove safari through the Sunderbans this winter, then look no further than the Sunderban Nature Club. Here's what you will get:

1. Fooding & Lodging - (4.5/5) - Stay on the island of Pakhiralay with feast on their delicious bengali cusiines (trust me, you won't stop licking your fingers!)

2. Vessel safari - (5/5) - You will remember these couple of days for the rest of your life. (Do not forget to take a zoom lens!!!)

3. Hospitality - (5/5) - The staff is truly courteous and humble. They even took the entire responsibility of safely on boarding and disembarking my grandmother every time from the vessel.

All in all, go for the trip. Soon you will ask for more!

The trip to the Sundarbans is quite an experience. For those who love the wild outdoors, this is a one of a kind ecosystem. The fauna is diverse, with thousands of intricately connected river systems and mangrove forests.
The organisers at Sundarban Nature club have made it a point to take customer satisfaction to the next level. Staff members are very friendly and provide adequate assistance to all the guests ( especially while boarding and getting down from the vessels).
Food is just exquisite. It's Bengali cuisine at its best. Coming to lodging, it's a smooth affair as well.
All in all and excellent place to visit and even more so because of the team of hard working staffs at the Sundarban Nature Club.
So, go for it. You won't regret it

We just came back from Sundarban and it was an amazing trip. We enjoy the most our boat journey and landscape of Sundarban. Quality of watercraft was good, behaviours of crew and staff very good and eco guide knowledge very good. The tour was well organized with comfortable accommodations. Hospitality and food was excellent. I can definitely say after this wonderful experience that I would highly recommend Sundarban Nature Club.
