This is one of the best UK family holidays that we have had for a long time. We stayed in number 89 Truro Premier Lodge. The lodge was well equipped with everything you need, it was modern well presented and extremely clean. The hot tub was amazing and we all enjoyed a relaxing time. The park was well maintained and clean, all the staff were amazing especially with the children. The only thing I would say if one of you children would like to do an activity book early. I don’t normally post reviews, but this is a truly amazing place to come, if you just want to relax and build happy memories with your family. Thank you very much to all the staff at the resort for a truly amazing holiday. We will definitely be back.

Dear Guest,
Wow! Thank you so much for your amazing review especially hearing that it was on of your best UK holidays.
We always recommend that activities are booked in advanced due to limited spaces on each activity.
We are delighted that you decided to leave us a review and you have created happy memories with your family.
We look forward to welcoming you back again in the near future.

The caravans here are absolutely beautiful, inside and out. Couldn’t fault where we stayed at all. It has wonderful scenery too! If you fancied a day out doing activities: zoo, beach etc... then they’re all within a 15 minute driving distance (if that) I’d definitely stay again! Perfect for couples or families with older children!

The site at Piran is ok.

However not really geared towards families with young children (mine are 6 and 3)

The big kids take over the football pitches, the soft play is small, the park tiny. The pool is nice but again small and not much for small kids. The go active is madly expensive (archery £15 each for an hour for example). The bowling is ok but with no side guards impossible for my young kids to play and a waste of £8.

The site itself is immaculate, the food in the bar is nice and average price, the beer is resonable too.

There is a gym on site which is again very small but a good addition. Oh and sky sports which was a welcome suprise.

Disappointingly the shop is part of reception so closed when reception did which meant we couldn't get any essentials on our first night (bad planning on our part perhaps)

Our caravan was lovely (st austell 3). Well laid out, clean, good shower, comfy beds, tv in bedroom as well as lounge and great heating.

In terms of the site it is a good site. However with the small play park, tiny soft play, small pool, football pitches overrun by older kids with no supervision and the exceptionally expensive go active activities i doubt we'll be back.

Dear guest, thank you for taking the time to leave us your review! We are sorry to hear you feel the resort is not geared towards families with younger children. Our extensive Go Active programme has lots of activities from 3+. We also do lots of pool based activities including a pool party which is a huge hit! We are also very excited to be receiving a brand new soft play this month! We do hope you decide to give us another go as we would love to welcome you back!
Kind regards

The accommodation is excellent. Its clean, well equipped with gas hob, grill and oven, microwave and gas central heating on demand. On-suite and shower facilities were excellent. Staff were friendly. Would recommend this site as its 10 mins by car to the beaches and Newquay center. Very family friendly site with leisure facilities and indoor pool. We went in March when the weather was a little mixed but I can see it being excellent in the summer.

We have just returned from an Easter break here and can't wait to return! Fantastic service from the staff from start to finish, very polite and great with my son in the pirate activity he went to. Spotless accommodation and great hot tub. We stayed in a Premier lodge and it was lovely, I agree with another comment about a tea towel or oven gloves being helpful however I brought my own this time! Well equipped kitchen and main bedroom quite spacious really. Well spaced between each caravan so you are not disturbed by neighbours either and superb parking. The shower was excellent too, certainly not your average caravan shower!!!

Well heated, well supplied with kitchen resources, high quality and comfortable beds.

The resort itself was clean, well maintained and we did lots on site too. The pool was clean and warm, the park was fun with the football pitch too, bar well stocked with a good range of drinks - 2 pints, 3 lemonades and a fruit shoot was £13. I thought that was quite reasonable priced for a holiday site. We all ate a delicious meal on Sunday. 3 3 course meals, 3 children's meals and deserts were £50 that is very good value compared to other local places we visited. Food was delicious, great service and quick. Even though it was busy we never felt crowded or rushed. The bowling alley and children's soft play were a great bonus too which we all enjoyed very much. My son (aged 3) loved the pirate activity you can pay extra for - the staff were fab, well organised activities and lots of fun. My only recommendation is perhaps do the activities in a different area not the soft play as it caused confusion and upset for some children who were not paying especially at food time e.g at 4pm there was an Easter crafts activity in the soft play so it was closed to play but my son didn't want to do the crafts and was left upset that he couldn't play in the castle especially as it was raining outside.

Overall though, a great resort and well placed to get into Newquay and other local places. Supermarket not far away from the site either - maybe make the takeaway food option from the restaurant with pizzeria more well known too.

Looking forward to our return. Thanks for our first visit to Cornwall being so enjoyable.
