My family and myself are regular visitors to Rubino kitchen. The menu changes monthly so we never want to miss out on the delicious new dishes which Rob creates using fresh locally sourced produce. The perfect place to go for a romantic meal, special celebration or family Sunday lunch. A small and intimate restaurant in beautiful surroundings with very friendly and attentive staff. Not to be missed!

Best restaurant in Essex by a mile. Just what Maldon has been crying out for. The location, food and staff 10/10. If you like locally sourced food that will challenge and excite your taste buds in equal measures, this is the place. We were going to move to Chelmsford but staying here just because of Rubinos.

Yesterday was the third time that we went to Rubino Kitchen and this was a surprise from my husband.
Loved to be back there.
Rob is always friendly and welcoming as the staff.
Just love the idea of a small but welcoming place to eat and spend a memorable time.
Easy and plenty of space for parking, small menu that focus on the quality and also good quantity.
Coming here is not only for dinner but a lovely experience.
We had the Valentine menu with a wonderful share fish dish with prawns, salmon, lobster, crab an oysters; really fresh and originally cooked.
As main we had chateaubriand each, great portion and having with broccoli and beautiful cooked crushed potato.
Warm chocolate fondant with cream and strawberry as dessert, really great.
Also a great bottle of Cotes du Rhone to have with dinner.
Was fantastic been there and for sure we will be back and bring more friends.
Rob is absolutely fantastic chef and great owner.

We had dinner here once and it was lovely. Few weeks later we came back for Sunday roast but couldn’t have it as they run out of vegetables. It was only about 2:30pm in the afternoon so this was quite disappointing.
