Had a very pleasant stay. The place was a bit hard to find or to see which house it was but we got a very warm welcome in this traditional Japanese inn. The rooms were very clean and the owner is very nice and welcoming. We have only stayed here for two nights but If I could I would’ve stayed longer.
The train station is at walking distance but will take about 20 mins to get there. Which isn’t that bad since the village is quite nice to walk through.
I recommend going to Fuji Kawaguchiko and getting a bus ticket for the tourist bus there to see all the fun and interesting spots. (Sounds lame I know but it was so fun and easy! Hop on hop off bus). The ticket is valid for two days.
