Excellent Hotel!

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 21 Oct 2019
Stayed here for 1 night. Very reasonable hotel near the Fuji area, just 10min walk from the Mt.Fuji station.
You could ride the free shuttle bus from the hotel to Fuji-Q-highland & kawaguchiko.
Rooms are spacious. The view from the room was amazing.
There is an air conditioner, refridgerator and coffee\tea facility in the room.
Breakfast is very good!
Staff is very kind.
TV channels only in Japanese !!

We chose this hotel to stay to rest for our next day climb to Mt Fuji. Located within 3 mins walk to Fujisan Station where you can take the bus to Mt Fuji 5th Station. There are less people taking the bus here then at Kawaguchiko so you will get a seat on the bus. The hotel is clean and provides free breakfast that will start you off with a solid breakfast for the climb. This place is however deserted and is a bit far from 7-11. At the train station there is a mall that has a viewing deck of Mt Fuji and also Daiso and Mos Burger. Again i would recommend this place only to rest and to be away from the crazy crowd at Kawaguchiko and to get a seat on the bus to Mt Fuji 5th station.

Room tip: Ask for the room that has Mt Fuji view

Very close to Fujisan station, just across the road, also had free shuttle buses to fujikawaguchiko. The area around the hotel is quiet, even a bit deserted, had to walk 10 minutes to the 7-11 along a dark scary road. Hotelrooms were dated, airco didnt work in our room and the bathroom unit looked very dated. Room was spacious though for japanese standards, and hygiene was okay. We stayed for one night, so it wasnt bad, free breakfast was okay, but recommend to stay elsewhere for a more relaxing stay since the area around kawaguchiko lake is a lot nicer. This is more a business hotel.

Good location from the station as there is a mall and some restaurants there

However you gottta walk for 8 mins to the nearest 7-11 but as the weather in December it’s fine too

Walk a bit to the great ramen and sushi shop...or family mart

We stayed in corner room with mt Fuji view - specious room with 3 beds and the view is so stunning - worth every yen you pay

Breakfast was so fresh and delicious 😋 we really loved it... not so fancy but all you needed were there

Will definitely go back this Christmas we wish we can book lol 😂 wanna stay more here 😍

We stayed at this hotel from April 4 till 8 in room 208. The room has a view off the Mount Fuji. The room was clean and well maintained. The internet connections is not good at all. The signal is weak. We had to use our pocket wifi to do our work. The breakfast is very good. There is plenty of stuff to choose from: yogurt, croissants, little breads, cereals, orange juice and warm items with different salads. There is no fresh fruit. The hotel offers a complementary shuttle bus to Fujisan Q Higland, Fujisan World Heritage Center and Kawaguchiko Station.

The location of Fujisan station hotel is perfect for traveling around the Fujiyoshida area. The airport limousine bus from Haneda airport stops at Fujisan station which is a 3 minute walk from the hotel.
We loved that the hotel was not in a touristy area as there were more Japanese travelers at the the hotel than foreigners but all the tourist spots were within easy reach.
You could ride the free shuttle bus to Fuji-Q-highland & kawaguchiko, take the train from Fujisan station to Chureito pagoda. The view from the room of Mt Fuji was amazing & the free breakfast buffet of a good standard. To top it all, the hotel is an official Fuji-Q hotel so we were able to buy our free pass tickets for Fuji-Q-highland from reception on the morning of our visit meaning we could check the weather before making a purchase. The tickets were also discounted & priority, meaning we could get into the park 15 minutes before the crowds. The staff were wonderful.
