We chose this hotel to be close to Mt Fuji and we had a an uninterrupted view of this spectacular mountain. It is an older style hotel, but the room was clean and spacious. It also has a public bath for those wishing to try Japanese bathing. The hotel was a bit too far to walk with luggage from the train stations, but we found a free bus (Fuji Q) that circles the town and stops near the hotel. A taxi fare cost us around $15-$20. This hotel, other than it’s great view of Fuji, is also a bit far from the lake. Still, we were out of the tourist area, which was nice - mostly Japanese people staying there, in a Japanese district - pleasant.

Room is clean and comfortable. Looked new. Bigger than a Tokyo hotel room. I had two single beds. Bathroom has ample counter space. Room was suitable for two people. Price was good for a longer stay. I stayed for five nights. I was on the street side but it was not noisy.

Wifi reception is good. TV, hot water kettle, refrigerator, hair dryer in room.

There is one onsen - women and men use it at different hours. there is also a sauna.

No dinner available at the restaurant when I stayed in April. There are a number of small restaurants across the road. Family Mart convenience store is just outside.

Coin operated laundromat inside hotel. Purchased laundry detergent from Family Mart.

As a tourist, I would have liked an information sheet explaining how to get to the bus stop and train station. I ended up using google maps and picking up maps from the tourist office at Fujisan and Kawaguchiko stations.

There are a lot of bus services in the Mt Fuji area. Can walk to Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen-jinja shrine 900m walk to the bus stop (keisatsushomae) and a 1.6km walk to Fujisan station.

It was a small and old room but super clean, tidy, warm with Fuji mountain view. The staff were very hospitable, professional, helpful, friendly. I felt like I'm at home. Onsen bath was one of the best amazing experience I've ever tried in my life. We had a fantastic buffet for dinner. Seafood were fresh, tasty with many variety of them. Fruit were fresh, sweet. Grape is recommended to try. It was very quiet, fresh air, peaceful place. I would like to come back here again next time.
