The hotel's location is good, right on main street. Walking distance to the food street, Dafo Temple and Wooden Pagoda. There are many restaurants nearby. The hotel does not provide breakfast but we had a wonderful meal near the hotel. The reception staff is able to speak good English. It is not a big hotel but the rooms and adequate and there are many electrical outlets to charge your devices.
It has a wet toilet and the drainage has some problems.....It seems the housekeeping staff do not remain the hairs in the drain. I did that and the water flowed much better. They have a little nice sitting area for you to drink tea. For the prices, it is very good value. We were able to get a taxi to the train station right outside the hotel.

Good value for the price. Check-in was awkward as the receptionist couldn't speak English but the guy who was on duty later did. He gave us directions on where to have dinner, breakfast & he organised a driver for us the next day to visit Mati Si & Danxia Geopark.
Our 'deluxe' room was on the small side but adequate. Good shower head, water pressure & plenty of hot water. Classic Asian ensuite where there isn't a separate shower alcove. Excellent wifi, even in the evening. Good sleep quality. Despite requesting a non-smoking room, an ash tray was in the bedroom! General odour of cigarette smoke on our floor. Small rack for hanging & clothes hangers provided. Rubbish bins emptied daily. Depending on when you arrive in Zhangye, you really need only one full day to see the major sights.
Can't complain as the accommodation was cheap & within walking distance to eateries, supermarket, city centre. Recommended.

This hotel was easy to find and it had a great location for walking in the town. It was clean, reasonably priced and had plentiful hot water. Not much of a view out the back, but it was quiet and we slept well. No problems with the wifi. When we checked in no one at the desk spoke English, but it was fast and efficient to get our key. Later, there was a man who spoke good English and he helped us ring through to our next hotel to double check our bookings. We had a few problems with the electronic door key, but it got sorted quickly and with a friendly attitude.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The room was a fine size. The bathroom lacked a shower curtain. It is on the corner of two main roads with a lot of taxis available and local places to eat. The best part was that they offer a 4 hour stay extension for 60 Yuan. Since the train I was taking to Dunhuang left at close to midnight, this was a great option. I returned to the hotel at 7 pm. after touring Danxia Landform and was able to wash up and rest before heading to the train station. I noticed that many other guests took this also. The front desk can arrange driver for sightseeing.

Room Tip: Ask for a room not facing the street

Great location in the centre of the town.I had a room on the 8th floor at the back and slept really well in a queen size bed. Bathroom was in good condition (but there were some hairs on the floor). The lady who checked me in couldn't speak any English but there is a list of pre-set questions and answers in English at the reception desk. Plus I had google-translate so no problems at all.

The gentleman at the desk in the evening spoke very good English.

The last place I stayed cost cny 100 but this was heaps better!
