This is an untouched place and I hope it remains like. As much as I want that, but at the same time, I want everyone to experience the charm and beauty of this small little village/temple. Small drive from Almora and options to stay overnight.

It’s a prominent place as it’s a jyotirlinga, amidst deodar forest as per the description in “Dwadash Jyotirlinga Strotam”. An hour an half drive from Almora. It’s a must visit place if you are going to Almora. Jageshwar Dham is more of a cluster of small and big temple around. Main is Jageshwar Temple.
While entering in the premises, you may come across couple of priests who would ask you help in assisting the “Pooja”. You may simply walk straight to the main sanctum sanctorum, take darshan and perform Pooja. The Sanctum Sanctorum is bit dark with less light and the Shivlinga is quite small, be attentive.

Do visit Kuber temple(one of its kind), which is on a small hilltop, 5 minutes walk visible from the main temple.
