It's a neat and clean ancient temple. Has more than 125 small temples clustered together. A stream flows close by. The priests are not greedy and perform puja if you say and do not haggle afterwards for money. The approach road is accessible by car. Took us 1 hour inside but that was because we did a small puja. Can be visited as a tourist too if not for religious reasons.

This is a holy place and as soon as you will reach there you will have a different kind of feeling. you will feel relax. surrounding to this place is great and beautiful.

This is an untouched place and I hope it remains like. As much as I want that, but at the same time, I want everyone to experience the charm and beauty of this small little village/temple. Small drive from Almora and options to stay overnight.

Really I don't have the words to express my feelings for this wonderful place.Jageshwar where we can feel the presence of god,and where one can comes very close to nature.This place is situated at an altitude of 1,870 meters.

A very peaceful place having a huge Deodar tree about 1200 yrs old
Deodar Forrest with stream flowing beside the temple is sight to behold
The museum with all old idols is worth the visit
