All that the hotel has going for it is the historic fort and the staff. They try to help but there’s only so much one can do when there’s so much wrong.
If you’re considering staying be sure you’ve done your research as if you don’t like it and want to move it is hours from your next choice.
The room photos are representative and may give your a different expectation to reality, there is only one restaurant (not 3 dining options as some sites suggest) serving buffet for breakfast and dinner (catering for the masses) and there’s nowhere else to eat close by if you decide to opt out. There is a snack bar but it has a very limited menu and not all was available from that menu when we tried it. The Wi-Fi is very poor, the pools are unheated and there is no hotel shop as some 3rd party sites state - there was one but it closed during Covid.
The whole place isn’t clean, the rooms are dated, the showers weak and the food offering is average at best.
The rates are 4 or 5* and I feel robbed. Maybe Covid has caused the challenges but there’s significant investment needed to bring this up to other historic heritage Indian hotels
