We stayed at the Dadhikar Fort for one night at the end of a 10 days Rajasthan Tour.

The Fort is beautiful restored and the our room was amazing.

We were the only guests that night and the staff was wonderful.

It is just 3 hours away from the Dehli airport and was a great way to end our short stay in India.

Well, what can we say this was one of the many highlights of our time in India. If you want to have some down time in India this is a great place to stay. We only had one night but what a wonderful night, only a 15 min drive from Alwar set on the side of a hill with amazing views over the countryside, fresh air and quiet. The Fort has been wonderfully restored with interesting old pieces of artworks and furniture. Our room was great lots of space magical view out the window and a Juliet balcony. The staff could not have been better, so helpful. We had afternoon tea on arrival on the roof top, dinner under the stars, breakfast in the cool garden and all the food was great. This would be a good place to stay a few nights as there is a bit to do in the area like Saskia National Park, Rock paintings, we wish we had. Thanks to Ram for making such a special place to stay.

I use a weekend to to relax and rejuvenate myself at this amazing fort resort. The setting is just perfect. set amidst the Aravalli hills in Alwar, just 165 kms from Delhi. This place is surrounded by lush green forests. Though nothing much to do at the fort, some really nice places like sariska and a lake are nearby for day tour. It could be a little difficult to locate the fort, as it is not really within the town and one needs to stop frequently to ask for directions.

The food is almost as good as home cooked (though completely vegetarian), very fresh and appealing.

The staff probably is the best that I have experienced anywhere. They make all possible efforts to make your stay as comfortable as possible and always have an ear for any feedback that you may have. They will take the extra effort to understand your needs and make sure that you have an out of the world experience.

if you are looking for activities and spa's this is not the place to be. Its just the right place to be sufficiently discoonected from the world and enjoy your stay with your better half

Room Tip: Do visit the site and have a look at the photos. They are definitely not misleading

Beautiful place, stunning views. Rooms are divine , with patios to sit on . There is little courtyard with afternoon tea and pakoras. Tea to your room, met on arrival with cold water and ice cold flannels.
Stunning place although better for adults than children
Food is fabulous. Service is good but not too overwhelming. Owners love the place and have an absolute passion for it.
Peacocks calling to you. I could go on and on.
Please go there it is a must and it is affordable
