We stay in this Hotel for 3 days and those are the most wonderful stays in any of the Hotels anywhere we stayed in India. We choose the Super Deluxe Room in the main Hotel which was rich in its Heritage Nature. Room gives spectacular views of Mount Abu. The food were served fresh and beautiful along with all the staffs. We will definitely back in this Hotel if we again come back in Mount Abu

Room Tip: Room opposite to the Entry Side

We spent two unpleasant nights at this hotel. On arrival we had to ask to change rooms since the bathroom had a water leak. The manager was quick to give us another room. However the bedding was badly soiled, eventually the following day after a lot of complaining two fresh pillows were provided. The room was very cold and had not been cleaned. We asked for more blankets which did appear but they were dirty and smelt horrible. The deputy manager spent most of the time on the phone to his friends and was not interested in his hotel guests. Only after really complaining to the Manager did the staff become attentive and punctual. We refused to pay for additional food as it was inedible. Sadly we had paid in advance for the room and were overcharged for the season. This was the worst hotel we stayed in over a three week period. The Manager claimed he had only been there a month and was having difficulty with his staff. When we asked if there was a restaurant his reply was 'maybe'. In my opinion the rooms and bathrooms need renovating and a much needed review of the management staff that they employ. Sad because the building itself and the location is good. Other Indian guests staying there told me that they were not happy with the service or the rooms they were in. Very disappointing stay and very expensive for India.

The room (“non AC Deluxe” – Rs 2600) was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a balcony offering a superb view (if you don’t mind the company of the monkeys!).

All went for the best during our stay until we checked out and realized that some extra little but imaginary amounts had been added to our bill.
This “incident” that didn’t harm our stay but damaged the very positive image we had of the place and its otherwise pleasant and professional staff.

The hotel is nicely located, in a quiet area, yet close to the little town’s heart where you’ll find a few decent restaurants (hotel food – “pure veg” – was very disappointing).

Overall, we foud Kesar Bhawan to be a comfortable and relaxing hotel offering a correct value for money.

Kesar Bhawan Palace Hotel is an heritage palace converted into hotel. This has an history of Maharaja of Patiala, Punjab. The cusine includes the Rajasthani and Gujarati, very good rooms with basic amenities. One can discover Mount Abu and its pleasure the most is during mansoon. It gives exotic momonets of life for romance during the rainy season particularly June-July when mansoon is active over Mumbai and it reaches Gujarat. The mist will encharm you with romance.
