Absolutely love this place.
It's our fourth visit.
The staff always go out of their way to help you out.
The cleaning service is second to none again a very warm welcome and even better when they remember you and your family.
Very close to the village even better for late night walks home from the village.

Fabulous place, clean, tidy and beautiful gardens. Our room was spacious and cleaned everyday, pools where great and never had a problem getting a sun bed, staff very friendly. If I was going to find anything negative it would be the walk back up from the beach front and touristy shops, if your not to energetic get a taxi-there are plenty of them

Having just returned from 2 weeks here, i can only say that we can see why so many reviews are from return visitors. It ticks more boxes than you can want, from the location, the scenery but for us too the most important thing we want on holiday the peace and relaxation to recharge the batteries. From the minute we arrived we we rent disappointed. Its Greece and as you would expect the rooms are basic and maybe a little dated, but that doesn't detract from the complex overall. It is beautifully laid out very clean and so quaint and charming. It is on a steep hill though so be warded if you really have a walking difficulty it might not be for you. But apart from that we couldn't fault it. It is basically set on 3 level really and our room is what i would call level 2 and we had a view of the main pool and the uninterrupted views out to the sea. A short walk up the hill to the top level and you have an even more fantastic view with a small infinity pool to add to that scene. With nothing more really above the complex apart from 1 set of apartments and a road it really is tranquil with only the sounds of the regular 'goat' excursions across the top of the mountain to disturb you rest, what more could you want. All 3 pools have a bar and the main pool bar doubles up as the restaurant area too. The food here is good, but to be honest with such an array of wonderful restaurants in the village you wouldn't want to eat here every night anyway. But for lunch or that odd night where you just fancy venturing out its perfect. I must at this point give a special mention to Eri who ran the 'top' pool bar. nothing is too much trouble for her and is so friendly she really did add to the overall enjoyment of the holiday. Like many other reviewers we will be back and our only real disappointment is that with other things we have planned next year already we are going to have to wait until 2019, which right now seems so far away, but we will be counting down and looking forward to returning again to this little gem of a complex and village without doubt.

Spent our usual ten days at Crete (it's a hyperbole - previous vacations were 7-8 days each).
In my opinion Setember is the best time for family vacation - warm but ot hot (besides one day with hot wind from Africa), a lot of local fruits and vegetables as well as homely fare in local tavernas - the best choice for city dwellers.
Warmly welcome and attentive concern to any request from Marni pesonnel at reception (especially Oxi).
Unfortunately next year in will be impossible to arrive in September - our little daughter goes to school and in will be unfair to sacrifice this date in favor of annual recreation.
But it is a good chance to try another season (rather warm October for us - northerners) during school vacation.

Have been to Marni Village 5 times now and I cannot fault it. From all the great staff, the location, the views, food, accommodation, everything is perfect. The place is kept spotless and you have everything you need in your apartment. It is about a 10 minute walk to either Koutouloufari or down the hill to Star Beach, which is at the start of the strip which takes you down to the harbour. You have the best of both worlds at Marni. I hate leaving, it feels like my second home. It is definitely a hidden gem and one I will return to again and again.

Room Tip: If you have walking difficulties a room in block 1 or 2 would be better as the higher apartments are up a bit of a hill.
