Stayed for 2 nights with my wife and an infant kid. This was our last stay in our 9 days itenary. The idea was to relax at the Resort and enjoy last few days of holidays.

The resort and the people went beyond our expectations to keep us happy. They upgraded us to the Villa rooms facing the pool. This was a big surprise, want to thank Anurag and team for that.

The evening Tea followed ferry to the lake is amazing.

The restaurant and people in the restaurant are very nice, they made infant food for my kiddo as well. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner all are lovely. Want to thank Suraj, Midun and Ratheesh for their hospitality.

The evening cultural programs are also good and well organized.

The swimming pool and plunge pool experience is very good. I and my kiddo whenever we got some time used to laze around in the pool where my kiddo loved playing in water.

I must say don't spend money on houseboats this is the best resort in Kumarakom. Please do take a back waters ride but stay here and enjoy the relaxation.

The highlight of the property is every cottage has its own private pool yet connected to the main pool which ends as an infinity pool, truly awesome. Rooms and service was extremely good. Food can get a little better, not many options to try dining out nearby. Definitely over-priced

Room tip: Only cottage accommodations are good, room stay can be disappointing.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was was not in a bungalow, but in the main body of the hotel. On the 2nd floor, it had a balcony and had a magnificent view looking down the length of the pool and out onto the lake. It was very spacious, and well appointed.
Its downside was not having easy access to the pool. we used the loungers at the far end by the lake. But there are no changing facilities down there...
Good food in the restaurant, and lovely live entertainment before dinner. Very attentive management - clearly wanted to please and add value. Provided spontaneously a birthday cake!
I haven't given a 5 star as I think some of the cleaning and maintenance could be a bit sharper and more 'on it'. We had a broken fridge which was not fixed, despite reporting it immediately and noticed slightly below 5 star cleaning

Room tip: The suite was great, but maybe bungalows would have been better. Cant imagine there is any value in paying for a private plunge pool

We originally planned to stay here for three nights but extended our stay to six nights. The location, pool, staff and food were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Our “cottage” room had everything we needed and was one of the best accommodations we stayed at during our 7 week tour of India.
Absolutely lovely.
