Not so great experience overall. The property is huge and beautiful but the rooms were not so great. Had to call the reception to get some basic things like slippers, toiletries which should ideally be present before guest arrival. The floor of the rooms were a bit old style. The showers heads also appeared old and
clumsy. Not the experience you
expect from a 5 star resort. Some renovation of the interiors would definitely be a great add on.
Additionally the website also calls out on a few complimentary services which are not actually complimentary but chargeable. Basic services like paddle boat are charged 600+. While the cost is not so much their website is misleading. The also call spa and jacuzzi to be complimentary but when asked to book we were told it is already taken up by all the guests who have booked a spa service. Kids pool was dirty

Room tip: Travelled in May. The weather was hot and humid. The complimentary setvices quoted on their website are not complimentary actually but chargeable.

Dear Guest
We have noted your feedback and wish to inform after opening, we have initiated step by step process of maintenance which is visible to all our customers post check-in.
Spread across 18 acres with 72 rooms across categories this will take a while to finish.
We are happy that all our customers appreciate the way we manage the same without causing any inconvenience.
We are looking forward to a steady business as the tourism industry was badly hit in the midst of a pandemic.
We will focus on more engagement with our guests and with details defined in the welcome letter to avoid any confusion in the future.

We were there for a break from normal city works and routine job. Booked the private pool villa the premium product there. We stayed at green pigeon (cottage 405)
Received by welcome drink, all the staffs from security, reception, housekeeping, restaurants were too good and exemplary
They have a dining area called lemon tree, spa called maya, health gym, billiards board room, bar, yoga area the body temple, private lagoon for boating both row and pedal, bamboo rafting, zip line, then cycling. Lake they have shikara boating into channels
Room was spacious they gave extra bed as promised. Bathroom was luxurious with bathtub, open sky shower too
The stay was awesome
The high tea, dinner and complementary breakfast was stunning with courses of dishes ample quantity
There was a doctors reunion and MFPA meeting(mouth and foot painting association) for handicaped pan india, we could felt the rush there
There is a conference hall too
Its located in a 18acres property connected by a bridge with landscaped well and a 5star property too one of the best in kumarakom

The room had a balcony with lagoon view as in my picture and as we walk out we have sit outs to the breathtaking Vembanad lake where we enjoyed the scenic sunset. The in-room dining options such as pizza, club sandwich, hyderabadi chicken biryani, karimeen fish fry with prawns moilee curry proved they offer both continental and authentic kerala cuisin. We were pleased with the breakfast spread at the Lime Tree restaurant and the freshly made dosas deserve special mention. Ambil at Maya Spa administered an Ayurvedic massage followed by shirodhara that made me feel relaxed and rejuvenated. I also would like to appreciate the smooth assistance provided by Honey during checkin and checkout. Overall the experience is absolutely memorable and we will return to make more memories.

Though the grand entrance raises your expectations but the property and the people raises it even more by their service. Fishing to Spa to Candle light dinner to arranging for a cab, you utter it out and its done. Its a city within, where you wont miss your world but you will miss this place when you are in your world. We were on our way to Lakshadweep and considering we were flying from Cochin, added this place in our itinerary and now we miss this place more than Lakshadweep itself. Staff is wonderful here, looking to visit again.

Property exudes charm and has a great view overlooking the mighty Vembanad Lake. However, most of the property requires an urgent maintenance cum upgrade. Food was a big let down , not much local cuisine to choose from and prices were exorbitantly high and lacked any distinct taste. Breakfast Buffet too was pretty average. Room was comfortable and the property is a nice place to laze around.. Cultural activities during the evenings were a Mesmerizing affair amidst the superb ambiance notwithstanding the mosquito bites .. Service levels were good . One can catch a houseboat right at the resort's boundary.. Plenty of other activities available mostly on a chargeable basis. This property has a lot of potential and very well located , management should look at the areas of improvement and feedbacks.

Room tip: All rooms overlook the lake or the lagoon.

Dear Guest
Thank you for the feedback and choosing to stay in the destination.
As one is aware destination tourism re-opened as soon as covid19 cases and TPR rates came down and restrictions were lifted for travel.
As decision makers
We are well aware of the challenges of running a property post lock down.
We depend on cash flow to manage the different areas that need urgent attention. The bucket list is long.
Currently the team is focused in areas that need attention and this will continue till every aspect of the product is covered.
