Though the grand entrance raises your expectations but the property and the people raises it even more by their service. Fishing to Spa to Candle light dinner to arranging for a cab, you utter it out and its done. Its a city within, where you wont miss your world but you will miss this place when you are in your world. We were on our way to Lakshadweep and considering we were flying from Cochin, added this place in our itinerary and now we miss this place more than Lakshadweep itself. Staff is wonderful here, looking to visit again.

Property exudes charm and has a great view overlooking the mighty Vembanad Lake. However, most of the property requires an urgent maintenance cum upgrade. Food was a big let down , not much local cuisine to choose from and prices were exorbitantly high and lacked any distinct taste. Breakfast Buffet too was pretty average. Room was comfortable and the property is a nice place to laze around.. Cultural activities during the evenings were a Mesmerizing affair amidst the superb ambiance notwithstanding the mosquito bites .. Service levels were good . One can catch a houseboat right at the resort's boundary.. Plenty of other activities available mostly on a chargeable basis. This property has a lot of potential and very well located , management should look at the areas of improvement and feedbacks.

Being a wedding planner, and having done many weddings at the Zuri Kumarakom, I had no doubts in my mind that I was going to have a great weekend. But then, how relaxed and rejuvenated I felt after staying there, was what i didn't expect. The wonderful greenery, the calmness of the backwaters and the luxury of the amenities was quite pampering. The polite and helpful staff and of course the amazing food had be absolutely floored. Me, my husband and kids had a wonderful experience and still can't stop talking about it.
