Unbelievable!

A trip to Kerala should definitely include at least one night on the houseboats available at this resort. The boat had all amenities including air conditioning. The staff were exceptional and the food was so delicious! The chef catered to our likes and included both Indian and western food. The scenery on the voyage was beautiful and peaceful. Just an amazing experience!

An exceptional experience

We stayed overnight on a 2-bedroom houseboat and spent the following day at the resort. It was a fantastic experience. Our chef on the houseboat (Akhil) was very talented and made amazingly delicious dishes for us. The houseboat was comfortable and the tour was very interesting. The entire staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. We also had treatments at the spa, which were excellent.

Friends leisure trip.

This was the second leg of our journey through Kerala , had read a lot about Lake Resort before deciding to stay here with my friends. It was a good decision since the hotel has all the amnesties that one could ask for a 5 star property. Location is superb, the staff, especially Anita at the front desk and Kavi who was very helpful with all our concerns. The sunset cruise was a bonus , very well arranged with soft flute and tabla music to entertain the guests on the cruise. The availability of bikes to move around the hotel premises to see the everyday life of the local people and the many activities available on the property is more than any guests can ask for. A very good place to stay. Would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Kumarakom.

Room tip: Go for the lake side rooms that face the beautiful and calm lake , with lots of nice wind in the evening.

Wonderful getaway

We stayed in Kumarakom Lake Resort for 3 nights and has a wonderful moment.
We had a room with a private pool which was really convenient and safe with the children.
There are plenty of activities to do : fishing, potery, boatcruise every night, traditional dance show, free tea time. spa.
Staff were very friendly and really make you feel welcome
Our daughter enjoyed a lot playing with Kavi and keeps even now telling that he is her friend!

Good place to stay

Nice place to stay really enjoyed the stay here. Special thanks to front office staff Miss Anai , Miss Ganga , Joshua Shebeer always smiling faces, As well Thanks to Bell Boys Mr Pradeep and Sanath. Thank you Boketto (Miss Jigisha) for suggesting and booking this hotel.
