I booked this resort based on review of one my colleagues and didn't bother to check the latest reviews on TripAdvisor. The experience was horrible. From the time we arrived at the hotel, the staff was behind us for availing their spa services. I was asked about whether I had decided to go for a spa treatment at least 5 times during my stay.
We reached this resort on 26 Jan 17 morning around 10.30AM. The breakfast timing was over so we ordered some appam, but what we got was uttappam and cold sambar in stained plates. We had to remind at least thrice to clear the plates. Ultimately the plates were cleared late in the evening.
The property is unkempt, the swimming pool isn't functioning, there is a board placed outside the pool that some of the tiles are broken. Its definitely not cleaned regularly. There were even cobwebs in the garden. The water stream seems to have not cleaned in ages.
The condition in the room wasn't any better. Even some lights in the bathroom weren't operating. The linen in the room were stained. We complained about the conditions thrice but no action.
The food quality was also not upto the mark. We didn't have any of the meals in the resort during our stay and had to search for options outside. On 27 Jan 17 we had breakfast there, the options were very limited, the food was tasteless, idlis were rock solid.
Staff doesn't understand Hindi or English.
Considering these conditions, we decided to check out on 27 Jan (though my booking was till 28 Jan) itself and asked for refund, which we didn't get from the resort but we had to get in touch with MakeMyTrip as we had done the booking through them.
Please consider twice before you decide to go for this resort.
We visited last week only to this hotel and it was the only hotel which spoilt our trip. Property is decent but service is very very poor and food prices are very expensive for its quality. This is coming from a suffered customer. There are much better options available.
wonderful place to be. awesome view.It is really nice place. you are treated well and you feel relaxed. i'd say its a must visit place. It is not always that you find a place with good ambiance , food, service.
Don't go with the review, it is a very very good resort.The food was also freshly prepared.Room are worst the cost,It is facing the back waters, so best place to relax.You can surely go & book the resort, I guarantee you that you will not be disappointed. The place is not crowded very few visitors so you have a whole pool to enjoy swimming
The resort stays far away from cleanliness and hygiene practices. You can be sure to get visited by Lizards, Spiders while dining. Our dining chair had live spider web and a spider was happily living on that chair till we dethroned it. You would get stained linens for sleeping and washroom. Mostly walls are damaged and stinks.
The property does have great potential but the management has made sure that it rots. I am sure that it will be closed soon and then be acquired by a decent chain for revival.
The food tastes awful. We saw crows enjoying Jam /Butter from the buffet counter; so you get it how worse it could be.
Its criminal!
