We spent 2 nights at the resort and we enjoyed our stay here. We stayed at the bamboo cottage, because of which we could experience privacy. The food was great, we had chosen lunch and dinner as well. Staffs were really helpful. We enjoyed the Ayurvedic massage as well which was very relaxing.! which should be taken care of. If luxury is in your mind then this is not the place for you.

Located on lakeside with 4 types of rooms. Super location, excellent service and great buffet. Breakfast (included) is sumptuous. Lunch and dinner are rs 600+tax but lots of variety and very tasty. Staff especially Ms Preeta in the restaurant and Ms Indraja in reception were exceptional. The lagoon facing rooms were out of this world and service, cleanliness, promptness were excellent. I recommend tbis highly, having already been to other properties like zuri on this stretch. Will visit again
Our office anniversary and get-together were held at Abad Whispering Palms, Kumarakom. We had a wonderful experience there. I have to thank many staffs at Abad for its success. Firstly, Mr. Mansoor who is in charge of central reservation helped us when there was confusion with our booking at Abad Turtle Beach Resort, Alappuzha. He was truly prompt in sorting out the situation and arranged this alternative
We had a great time at Abad Whispering Palms, Kumarakom. They provided excellent services, hospitality, and care. The food was delicious, thanks to the culinary skills of Chef Gopakumar. The Resort Manager, Restaurant Manager, Executive Chef, F&B, Front office team, housekeeping, and many others supported us wholeheartedly. Staffs were cordial and amicable.
The resort is located in a beautiful destination along the banks of Vembanad lake and the evening view was stunning. Our team had both garden view and lake view rooms and the rooms were neat with a spacious backyard. Banquet hall was also good enough for an office meetup.
I can say that it's one of the best places for a group event as they are very cooperative and are ready to coordinate things for us so that we can relax and enjoy ourselves!
Abad Whispering Palms in Kumarakom is located on the banks of Vembanad Lake. The lake is so huge that it looks like a sea. The resort offers excellent view of the lake, with the beautiful house boats cruising majestically along the lake. The resort abounds in exotic greenery with many flowering plants of heavenly hues. The pond located along side the Garden facing rooms is beautifully designed, with occasional views of the ducks swimming in the pond enhancing the splendid view. One of the best resorts in Kumarakom. We stayed one day in Lake view cottage. Check In is smooth and room is spacious with all amenities.
Hospitality is really good and all staffs were very friendly. I requested home medicine for my son who had severe cough at late hours and they gave immediately. We can have good lake view from our room.
Buffet is value for money and taste is good. My kids were enjoyed lot in our stay. Only concern is bed size. If you are coming with two kids then opt for extra bed.
They also have their own sikara boat, motor boat and speed boat. Recommended this resort if you are planning to stay in Kumarakom.
Stayed at the bamboo pool villa with family.. a really good destination to hangout for a relaxing time.. Great service from staff. Rooms and the property iteslf was well kept and clean. There was a large number of guests in that day but staff handled all pleasantly. Overall good experience
