I would start by first thanking the entire team of Abad whispering palms, Kumarakom for making my stay so pleasant and relaxed. Right from the reception to room service, house keeping, restaurant staff every one was so warm and welcoming. Never did I get to hear the word No from anyone in the hotel staff during my stay.
I and my husband stayed there for 3 nights. we were looking for a laid back and close to nature holiday and Kumarakom and this resort is just what we wanted this holiday to be like.
This hotel is a beautiful property with lush green manicured lawns, extremely well maintained pool, they have the Vembanad lake just behind the resort and the hotel arranges back water tours with different types of boats docked behind. We opted for a lake and canal tour for 2 hours. It was sort of a private tour with one hour each in lake and canals and we came across beautiful views of paddy fields, small villages general household of city people in backwaters. Lake itself is huge and has Allepy on the other side of the lake.
We also went for authentic kerela massage at the hotel spa and it was such an amazing experience as the staff was very professional and took care of even the small details of comfort.

I loved the room, and the passage to it, it was like the way to a small little colony and we had an garden Sit out on the other side of the room. Half of the bathroom roof was open and was covered with only net letting all the sunlight cone in, again a close to nature experience in itself.
Sumptuous breakfast with lots of options to choose from. However for lunch and dinners we opted for in-room dining which was again prompt and delicious. I personally loved the dal tadka, chicken Biryani, malai kofta and oh so soft rotis.
All in all an extremely pleasant experience here and we would love to visit this place again with our parents next time. More
