We stayed at the Angel inn hotel for just 1 night after we visited Pershore for the day. The wet weather put a dampner on our visit but the angel made our visit much brighter.
We stayed in the Worcester suite which we loved. The room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed, great decor and all the amenities we needed including an ipod docking station.
Yes the building is old with what seems to be the original windows which face out onto the main road and yes there are some broken panes at the top but is certainly didnt spoil our stay.
The one negative about the room was the noise from the road outside, my husband found it very difficult to sleep.
We ate in the restaurant on the evening I had the rack of lamb which turned out to be 2 lamb chops although they were delicious, and my husband asked for the fillet steak which wasnt available however he was offered the T bone which he had and really enjoyed.
Oh and we both had the scallops to start which were to die for.
The waitress that served us was delightful and very busy with her seeming to be covering the bar and the restaurant and at one point service was a bit slow but we were happy to wait, what we didnt like was to be able to hear her being reprimanded by a senior member of staff, we found this a bit uncomfortable and a bit over the top as the waitress was working very hard!
The following morning we opted to have breakfast in our room as we wanted to make the most of it and it was lovely just what we wanted.
Overall the Angel Inn is a lovely place to stay, with lovely food and nice staff.
If I was to return I would ask for a suite which overlooked the rear of the hotel so as not to get the noise from outside.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the rear of the hotel and upgrade if you can

Polite staff however we were very disappointed with the room.We booked a Premier room and although the size was good we had cracked glass in the windows and were on a very busy road which led to being woken at 4.30am!
My husband enjoys a pint of bitter but was fed up when 3 of the 4 beers were off for the 2 nights we were there.
The full English breakfast was kept to a minimum and when ordering the black sausage i got 1 piece that was as thin as a crisp! After my husband having a serious long illness i was truly disappointed that when i told the manager about the room on our departure she told me" that was their premier room and there was nothing she could do".Not good enough for what we paid.

Room Tip: Make sure you are not on the front of the Hotel!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room (room 10) looked as if someone had ripped the television off the wall and there were huge dents in and around the door suggesting someone had tried to kick it in! Not a great start. The decor was shabby, carpet knackered and the shower just not good enough. Walls paper thin, we were woken by the chambermaids chatting outside our room at 9am.
Pershore is lovely and the hotel is in a great location. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, but the room was just not good enough for the price we paid.

Wonderful food, excellent chef. We had a super stay. Our room was clean and comfortable with contemporary decor. The staff were extremely helpful and accomodating when booking and during our stay. Lovely, relaxing enjoyable time. We will definitely come back (and bring our friends with us!).

Room Tip: Wyre piddle was a lovely compact suite.

we arrived for for our short stay to be greeted by very polite friendly staff at reception,we were then shown to our quaint malvern suite. The room was more than adequate apart from the shower (which was poor) spacious and modern. The restaurant was lovely with exceptional food with interesting menu,But was let down by warm wine and unattentive waitresses.would recommend to anyone for a short break. Richard & Joanne

Room Tip: ask for a suite and a bath if you require one.
