Being a Car Nut, several of my friends suggested I make a visit to this Museum, so I did. Totally blew me away and that was when I drove into the carpark. This place is large. Reasonable entrance fee I thought ($35) for what you get once inside. Quite a number of cars I knew nothing about on display, a few I'd heard of, but never seen. Had planned on maybe an hour here, but ended up over half a day and could have spent more. A must include attraction if ever in the area.

Absolutely brilliant collection! Definitely a must see, worth a trip up to the Kapiti Coast to see. Great spot for a picnic lunch down by the dell or there's a coffee and souvenir shop on site.

This is definitely worth a visit for the car enthusiast. I only wish they let you have test drives. The loos were the cleanest I’ve seen so far.

What a wonderful building housing an extensive collection of motor vehicles, cars, motorbikes and memorabillia - all very nicely displayed. The facilities and vehicles were spotlessly clean and sparkling. Very high quality of vehicle restorations. Well worth the visit, thoroughly recommended.

It had been a few years since my last visit to this museum, so I was surprised that they had considerably increased the number of vehicles by opening up the basement. This museum also has a large collection of motor cycles. Even if you're not a motoring enthusiast you will find an extensive collection of vehicles. I would rate this museum up there with Beaulieu in the UK.
