-the wifi did not reach our room.
-the cable was spotty at best.
-the air conditioning did not work even a little bit.
-the insane construction outside our room woke us abruptly at 7am EVERY morning.
-the toilet broke.
-we were given one sheet each.
-even after offering a second deposit we were told we would not be given a second room key.
All in all, it wasn't a terrible experience. We did, however, pay for a deluxe room and with that expected a little better than the mediocrity we received.
The front desk staff was TERRIBLE. I can understand a language barrier but they would ignore us to use the phone and then call us back to the desk and still not be able to answer any questions.
I would NOT recommend The Loft Samui to anyone, which is a shame because it looks like it has so much potential. Unfortunately, given the lack of people we've seen over the last three night, it seems we are not the only ones who feel this way. More
