This small restaurant offers French food with a Japanese twist. Fixed price menus start at 52eu and go up from there. Also they offer matching wines, 43eu for 4 glasses paired to the meal. The 52eu menu sounded rather minimal by their description, but it offered so much more, amuse bouch, entree, 2 small mains and dessert plus breads and specialty butters. The presentation was very high end, the flavours were wonderful, one of the best meals we have had in France ever. It is worth the expense if you get the opportunity. Best to book as they only seat about 20-30.

Unbelievable quality in the small village of St. Amour.
Good enough that I believe will get a Michelin star

This place will blow your mind! We took the cheapest menu at 52€, which I thought was a bit expensive for lunch .... well, it was the best 52€ I've ever spent on lunch. I've had some beautiful meals in France, with the price ranging from inexpensive to very, very expensive; this was worth every centime!
The decor was simple, modern and just felt "good". The crockery was impressive, just beautiful. The cutlery was just utterly different and unique, it was a talking point all on its own.

And the food .... the presentation was artistic on a level that is too difficult to explain.
Les mises en bouche (tasters) were such a delight of tastes and appearance. The starters were just sublime ... taste, colourful flowers .... a master chef was obviously at work! The fish course was similarly a masterpiece of cuisine and artistry. The meat course continued the same, very high, level of culinary competence and presentation. Desert ... well what more can I say. Just before coffee a (highly laquered, three tiered) box arrived, when opened it revealed little "sweets" .... I find it impossible to describe the tastes .. just wonderful.
The staff were excellent. The chef was waiting outside on our departure!!!
Don't miss this place .... you will not regret eating at this establishment.
This place deserves a milky way of stars ..... An experience all of its own.

Many thanks ..... congratulations to the restaurant ....... we'll be back ..... soon.

Just one comment ... The menu was not easy to understand in terms of its "construction" .... but on explanation it became evident. Don't know why I mention this because the meal just blew that into insignificance.

The food at this restaurant is INSANE. Just go, it is emotion on a plate. I loved every single thing they served and I have eaten at a lot of fancy places.

The setting and its waiting staff reflect fine dining the moment you step in. One can sense that it's definitely not a place to come with children as it is more for couples, friends etc. The cuisine is of French & Japanese fusion type. Each course is beautifully decorated and served in a "guided food tasting" manner. However, they should review the portion that they serve as it is insufficient in my opinion. We went in a group and I took the full course menu, enjoyed it very much but I left the restaurant feeling hungry. Though the quality in food and service is good, I consider it to be a one-shot experience.
