What a gem this hotel turned out to be! It was a package holiday deal for us and we arrived at about 10pm which was too late for the restaurant to still be open. Some food was quickly rustled up for us once we had chosen between seeing our room and dropping our cases off or eating immediately. Throughout our entire stay of one week the staff were unfailingly friendly, helpful and polite - they could not do enough for their guests!

As for the accommodation it was more than adequate, my wife and I were given a family suite which was split maisonette style into two floors with a double room on one level and a twin room on the other. Our room boasted a refrigerator and a FoC safe for our valuables.

With fresh towels daily and clean sheets twice in the week we were well looked after and cleanliness of the accommodation was paramount.

The restaurant was lovely and we looked forward to our meals (half board) with relish and even delight when we discovered the evening meal was complemented by a free half litre of red wine. It was not the most complex of wines but was eminently quaffable and enjoyed by us.

I cannot comment on the other services and facilities that the hotel provides because we did not use them. When chatting to other guests we found two German couples who had been staying annually at the hotel for at least the previous decade and considered it to be very special.

The hotel is situated conveniently close, perhaps two hundred yards, to the gondola which lifts you up to skiing level from where you can explore the many trails and footpaths that crisscross the Dolomites.

Would we visit Campitello di Fassa and use the Hotel Soreghes again? We most certainly would and have no hesitation in recommending it to those folk who enjoy an established, respectful establishment which is not glitzy and gleaming but gives you a warm and satisfied feeling.

Stayed here the first week in July 2017. WE arrived at 10.30pm expecting maybe a snack or sandwich, but the restaurant had stayed open and produced a three course meal with wine and water. We were not disappointed with any of the other meals during the week. Hearty portions and enough choice to keep everyone happy.
The room was spacious, very clean and tidy with the added bonus of a balcony and a second double room and bathroom upstairs.
We didn't use the spa, wellness, gym and treatment areas but had a quick look at them. All were spotlessly clean. Free wifi worked well in our room.
Without exception, all the staff were courteous and polite.
The hotel is well placed for the lift and it is only a few minutes walk into the village for the bus etc.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and would like to return.

Room Tip: our room was on the third floor, at the front of the hotel.

Stayed for one week late June and can only describe Campitello and the whole valley as Heaven on Earth. If you like walking/ hiking, running, relaxing, good company great hotel, friendly staff and need to clear your head and relax, then this is thee place. From our late arrival and still get a hot meal, to a beautifully situated hotel with 360 degree panorama we were totally gobsmacked with Gods creation. The hotel rooms were lovely and clean, the food was very varied and plentiful. Breakfast had all you need, dinner was pre-picked the night before and had plenty on the menu. Water and a litre of wine was supplied free with dinner. You could not leave hungry. We bought the Panorama pass for using all the Ski lifts and buses as often as you needed. This opened up the whole valley for so many low, medium or high level walks in what I can only describe as spectacular landscapes, views and totally fresh air. Our weather was magnificent and on three nights had a thunderstorm to watch. Next morning the hot sun was shinning. Can only thank the Soreghes Hotel staff for adding first class service to our holiday in a magic place. A big thank you also to the lovely people who's path we crossed for one week. It was a pleasure to have met you all.

Booked this with Thomson travel. Arrived about 21:30 and were asked if we wanted to check in first and then have dinner or eat first, we were served up and two course dinner with choice of main and a carafe red wine this was an unexpected surprise although the rep said we would be fed we thought we would get sandwiches.

THE ROOM
We were in room 119 which is large with plenty of clothes space and a typical Tirolean corner table set, the balcony was large enough for us with views towards the river (rear of the hotel). There is a safe free of charge and a refrigerator. The beds are firm but very comfortable with additional duvets if required (with temps not getting below 25 C these were not needed). It was kept clean and tidy but the hotel did not seem to run a water conservation policy and towels were changed daily unlike other hotels that try to reduce detergent use and therefore their impact on the environment
.
THE FOOD
The breakfast buffet has meat, cheese, boiled and scrambled eggs, yogurt, fruit fresh and tinned (don't be put off by tinned), wonderful fresh bread especially the wholewheat granary, jams, cereal, milk, water, juice, coffee and tea, Oh and of course cakes, all types to indulge in.
Dinners are four courses, starter which are selections of all sorts of goodies very nouvelle cuisine, choice of four primo and four secondo, and those cakes and tarts again together with carafe of wine or beer. The staff were efficient and genuinely friendly especially Costanzo on reception nothing was to much trouble, Asia and Erica in the dinning room always a smile and Antonio who always ensured the dinning room ran smoothly.

THE FACILITIES
The Wellness centre has steam rooms, sauna, hot tub very welcome after a days walking the high alpine meadows, massaging waterfall and a pool, well more a large plunge pool nice to relax rather than exercise also a fitness room with machines though why you would use these when you can walk, bike, run and hike up and down the beautiful valley. Don't know about wifi as I don't use this.

The hotel is clean, quiet (we were there on the first week of the season so the resort and hotel were not full so it might get a bit more hectic later in the season) of traditional style like most of the buildings it looks like somebody was let loose with a fret saw on the woodwork. It is located off the main road towards the river which is convenient of the walks between the villages.

We can recommend this hotel.
