Hotel is better than most of the roadside hotels however the bed sheets provides insights into the last accomadated in terms of long hairs and dirty floors. The customer service was straight out of the 19th century and a mix of fawlty towers. I wouldn't come back here!

We were making our way back to the UK and booked this hotel after viewing it on a major booking agents web site as it was mid-journey. It looked OK with outside sitting, a bar and restaurant in a famous medieval town. When we arrived there was no outside seating and the bar and restaurant was closed the floor was being cleaned and prepared . There was a choking smell of methylated spirit though out the hotel. We were given room 14 which was at the very top of a spiral staircase. The room had to large singles it was in the roof space with velox roof windows with blinds that were almost falling out and did not work . There rest of the bedding, fixture and fitting and decorations where shabby to dirty. I would not recommend this hotel at all it was grossly misrepresented and the bill came to more than it was quoted but we just wanted to get away. Oh the owner was very happy we didn't want breakfast as they couldn't provide it

Room Tip: Don't bother awful place

Only stayed one night on way from Bilbao to southern Spain no English spoken so was difficult at check in reception staff did not make eye contact or hint at a smile made to feel we were not very welcome had requested a twin room booked through Bookings.com given a double as no English spoken did not try and alter restaurant did not open till 9 p/m translated menu ourselves on line didn't fancy Pigs Trotters Kidneys in sherry or Liver so gave it a miss. On the up side the room was very clean but Hotel very noisy with doors banging and echoes as all marble. Breakfast was served in what resembled a cafe no indication what was included for breakfast man serving was very sour faced no reply to our good morning ( in Spanish ) place was busy with what seemed like local men having a chat and coffee as the only female in there it felt uncomfortable on check out was treated the same as check in glad to get away also very difficult to find directions take you 4 km away would not recommend or return
