“Lovely cottage in a fascinating town”

This pleasant and comfortable cottage is within a few minutes walk of the town centre. Everything you need is provided and is good quality - not the usual cheap holiday rental stuff. Best welcome pack you're likely to find. Blaenau Ffestiniog cannot be described as a pretty place, but it is fascinating and a great centre from which to visit Snowdonia and the coast.

“Lovely little Cottage”
Reviewed 16 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Really well presented little Cottage. Very clean and well stocked. We stayed here to visit Snowden and Aberdaron and we're not disappointed. Looking to come back next year. Welcome basket was a brilliant idea and greatly received. Thank you Martin.

“Delightful cottage”
Reviewed 12 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Having not been to north Wales since I was a small child, I had no real idea where I wanted to stay. The reviews for this cottage and its location made it worth booking and dipping a toe into Snowdonia with my family, I can honestly say I was not disappointed . The cottage is cosy, very well equipped and well positioned for some beautiful walks and attractions of which a couple are within walking distance,
We would definately return in the future.

“Perfection”
Reviewed 15 July 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Full refurbished, beautifully decorated, fully furnished with good quality furniture, immaculately clean and totally equipped with everything that you could possibly need during a stay here! Definitely the best cottage I have ever rented. Love the welcome pack, the comfy beds and sitting room.

I was wild swimming, hiking and photographing jets on the Mach Loop, I'm planning on going back to do the local adventure sports, mountain biking, climbing and zip wires in particular. But I'm only going to go when I can stay here.

The cottage is surrounded by amazing scenery with some great pubs and restaurants close by. Had some amazing lamb and seafood dishes and some great Welsh beer.

Top tip....plan your car fuel, there aren't a whole lot of petrol stations out there and those that are don't open late. Didn't actually run out of fuel but came very close!

“Snowdonia is absolutely beautiful for walking, cycling or just driving.”
Reviewed 21 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

This is a perfect cottage with top quality appliances and fittings. It is furnished with thought and taste plus a welcome hamper full of local goodies. The little museum in the village (open on Sunday) is well worth a visit and gives insight into the miners who lived and worked there. The now defunct quarry has tours down into the caves and a Zip Wire attraction. The surounding area is breathtaking and within easy reach of famous gardens, castles and seaside. My only regret is we didn't have time to visit the caves.
