We were only on La Gomera for 4 days but visited this great little café / juice bar three times. The food is fresh and delicious and choice of smoothies amazing.
What a happy find.

Came here for lunch. Had the tapas dish of the day which was an aubergine stew with coconut crepe, Very tasty and a good. Great range of smoothie and juice drinks. J had a beetroot and ginger I had fruits of the forest lassi. Bill was 22E which we thought very good value considering the quality of both the food and drink.

The cafe was close to our hotel and we walked past it many times during our week in Valle Gran Rey. Although not large there are tables on the pavement outside and it seemed to be very popular.

Well worth a visit.

We had an excellent breakfast, homemade granola and an abundance of fruit and yoghurt. The cordado had great taste, home baked bread and super carrot cake. Fine music - we would recommend to include also music from this danish band: When Saints Go Machine. yoghurt. The cordado had great taste, home baked bread and super carrot cake. We found this vegetarian cafe by chance and enjoyed our lunch very much. The quiche and salad were so tasty and the wine was very drinkable. Service was very good , it is not a very big area but there are a few tables where one can sit out in the sun.We thought that it was excellent value for money and stood out amongst some of the other eateries in town because of it's unique menu.

The village of Valle Gran Rey is a long way from anywhere, and it has few notable (i.e. not straight touristy) cafes or restaurants. This little place stands out from them all.

We found it soon after the start of our visit and went back to it each day thereafter - twice on our last day.

It's a vegetarian place, so it might not be to everyone's taste, but that shouldn't put you off - the food is excellent and it's *always* freshly made. The soups are delicious and so are the quiches and salads. But the cakes are something else. With our coffee (which was better than we had elsewhere in the village) we had Danish Apple Cake and Poppy-seed and Pear, both of which were to die for.

Even though it was often quite busy, it had a really nice, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our only regret is that we didn't find it earlier.
