Great people, awesome location, but the "resort" is in need up updates. Lots of little things that would be easy to attend to were ignored (ripped screens, AC that was either on "freeze" or off, dusty furniture, and fingerprints & grime on the microwave are just examples). The linens were all mismatched, and one day they ran out of bath towels. We had to use a hand towel to dry off from a shower before going out to dinner. The beds were terribly uncomfortable and the hot water was solar, so morning showers were luke-warm. Afternoon showers were wonderful though, and the view from the veranda was spectacular. We were right on the beach and had easy access to several awesome restaurants. The staff were all incredible, especially the people who worked at the front desk, but I got the sense that the owners didn't provide them with the resources they really needed to make this place shine. There were chickens all over the place which were charming (no roosters), but the monkeys were the best!

If you're looking for a high end resort, this isn't it but if you're looking for something a little more friendly on your wallet, then this is a good option for St. Kitts. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on the beach and has chairs and umbrellas. There are several beach style bars on the same beach. There is a small pool, we did not use it.

We ate lunch at the restaurant once, it was fine but it wasn't our best meal. A short walk down the street, there was an excellent Indian place, La Shangrila, and Pizza Boys, which had good pizza. There's a small Ram's grocery sharing the building with Pizza Boys.

We had a mountain view room so we could only see the beach if we were out on our tiny balcony. The room was comfortable enough and quiet at night. The shower always had hot water. The only toiletry provided was bar soap, bring your own shampoo etc. Safe deposit boxes are located in the lobby and we had no trouble using them although it was a little bit of a hassle to have to do it that way instead of a room safe. We had a small refrigerator and a coffee maker in our room.

The resort and Frigate Bay area is a quick cab ride from town and from the airport and from the beaches on the south end of the island. Cab prices ranged from $12-$24

My room was not far from the reception area. Kudos to Ms. Laurel, who not only helped me check in quickly, but gave me great restaurant recommendations, one of which was Ms. Cathy's just about 3 hops and a skip away. A comfortable room, with A/C, hot water, phone and TV (you can request wake-up calls, as well). Another plus is it's right on the beach. Even if you're not swimming, you get the best views just sitting in the dining area and soaking it all in.

Room Tip: For big groups, ask for a room with a kitchenette. For a great view, choose rooms facing the front of the resort.

We coordinated with Laurel via email and purchased a Day pass for our port stop in St. Kitts. The pass is very reasonable and includes, lunch, beach chairs, an umbrella and a rum punch. All the staff was very pleasant.Their small beachfront property is beautiful. They will arrange a taxi to meet you at the pier, or you can do on your own. The quality of the food is not 5 star, but it is fine. Especially for the price. Lovely way to spend the day in St. Kitts, Caribbean.

My wife picked up a great value for money week in this excellent locally owned hotel. We simply loved it. The staff were all really nice. Not just customer services nice, it genuinely lovely.
The location is outstanding. We loved everything about this little gem of a venue. The sunsets viewed from the hotel pool were so beautiful.
