Money well spent, fantastic decor and fitments, lovely aura about the place.Outstanding polite service and every plate of food that passed my eyes looked really good. Well done Thwaites on devising a very modern gem!

Really nice pub, with an excellent menu and food. The burgers are very good. Our waiter John was great too.

We had a nice evening meal with the family.

The sharing platter with ham, pate and breads was very nice.

All of the mains were good and the pub itself was clean and comfortable.

Next time we are in the area we would revisit.

We stayed Easter Sunday night in a fab dog friendly room, had a super dinner, great beer, wine & Gin & a delish breakfast the next morning. The staff were so helpful, the short walk to the beach & headland great for the dogs. So handy for IOM boat & cant believe we didn’t know it was there. Have recommended to everyone at home since we got back, thanks Paul, Laura & the team, we loved our visit.

What a find - after a soggy walk on a rainy day we stumbled across this lovingly restored hotel/restaurant in the quaint village of Heysham next to a National Trust site. From the word go we were made to feel welcome and relaxed and it was obvious that the staff enjoyed working there which contributed to the nice atmosphere. The food was delicious and we would have happily whiled away the afternoon were it not for the drive back to Kendal (approx. 30 mins) . Would definitely return maybe for an overnight stay as the rooms look cosy and there are some great coastal walks nearby.
