Fra Paolo is so welcoming and proud of his church. He is always present in the church, cleaning, turning on the lights and the music. It's so nice to see someone so dedicated to his commitment.

There are so many memorable churches in Italy that little churches like this one often get overlooked. It is worth stopping in for it's history and relationship to St. Francis.

This is the best church to visit in Spello. Beautiful but tough competition in this category when you're in Italy

We expected a long line and a large admission price. We were the first and only ones there when the church opened at 9:30 a.m. There was no admission fee, but we did spend 1 euro to light the frescoes, which were beautiful.
