We spent 2 weeks here with friends who joined us for our 2nd week and they stayed in Apartment 1. Predrag the owner is such a lovely host and most helpful too. Picking us up from the airport and taking us to a supermarket straight from the airport so we could stock up the fridge. Gosia was so kind to me too when I got sea urchin spines in my foot and did her best to remove them for me. It's only a 15 minute walk to the town but you will need to be reasonably fit as it is quite hilly. We loved the nearby bay which was only a few minutes walk and Predrag has a garage full of beach accessories which we made full use of. The beach shoes you can buy in the market are highly recommended. We loved the views from our apartment and although there are planes overhead, after the first day we didn't really notice them. We loved sitting on our balcony in the morning which gets the early sunshine, eating our breakfast and enjoying the wonderful views. The apartment has air con and wall fans which were very welcome on our first week as it was very hot and we had a mozzie net over our bed although they still managed to get us!. We are already making plans to return!

This was our first visit to Croatia - we had heard good things about it. We were not disappointed. Yellow House is a great place to stay. The location is amazing, with wonderful views across the bay. Trogir centre is within 10 to 15 mins walk (Yellow House is close to the top of a long steep hill - which didn't cause an issue but worth being aware of). Predrag, the owner, was really kind and hospitable, nothing was too much trouble. We felt very welcome. The apartment is very well equipped, with a full kitchen and a comfortable living area. They even provided bug repellant candles which meant we could enjoy evenings on the balcony un-molested. The is a washing machine too, which is helpful since towels / bedding were clean on but not changed regularly. There are loads of things to do nearby - nice beaches and trogir itself is lovely. Further afield the national parks are worth visiting. You can also take a boat trip from trogir to split. Food is reasonably priced and good quality. The seafood is wonderful. The Croatian people are very friendly and welcoming. It was a very pleasant, relaxing stay. We would definitely recommend.
My boyfriend and I and our two children aged four and six years had a lovely four-days- stay in apartment 3, which is a really nice flat with a good atmosphere and with a splendid view.
The center of Trogir is reached within 15 minutes walk through beautiful narrow streets and the beach is close by the apartment. If you are planning to go to Trogir, I can really recomend Yellow House. It is a great place to stay, in quiet surroundings and with a kind and helpful host.
