Spotted this taverna down a side road and decided to give it a try. Appeared to be family run with father and son front-of-house.
We ordered chiken souvlaki and stifado and bread/olives were bought to our table (unrequested but we didn't turn them away) Food was alright, although somewhat oversalted for my taste.
Atmosphere was very strange - both waiters were very (perhaps over) friendly to some tables and even sat down with them to work out the bill - never seen this before. With other tables including ours, whilst the service was fine, they were very stand-offish and left us feeling a bit second class - hard to put into words but didn't make for a pleasant ambiance.
The final bill was reasonable - we were charged for the bread and olives but kind of expected that.
