Although the rooms need some TLC, they are absolutely fine and I cannot understand why some reviews are not good.Any minor issues are sorted quickly
If you are looking for luxury then this is not the place for you!. But if you want a lovely traditional Greek appartment with a balcony, excellent shower, lovely grounds, friendly staff and a super large pool..then come !
The location is great with a modern supermarket close by, the beach with its beautiful shaloow warm sea is about a 5 minute walk. Plenty of restaurants on the road or on the beach front.
Well done Suzanne and staff you have a beautiful place

Room tip: ask for a room overlooking the pool as mountain views

The reason for choosing this resort was its proximity with the long gorgeous sandy Almyros beach.
The buildings are very old and rundown probably built hastily in the 80s. Lack any sort of heat or sound insulation.
However hotel is located in a side quiet street. Rooms have no seaview at all, look either into each other or the pool or the mountain slope.
Lack of airconditioning makes impossible a pleasant night sleep in August heat.
Pool area is very nice, but we hardly used it as we prefered the beach.
A nice breakfast was daily served.
Suzanne and Thanasis who run the hotel were always present to answer queries, say hello or offer a glass of raki or two late night.
A car is absolutely essential to explore the island, enjoy Corfu town nightlife which we did and discover the beaches.
In conclusion next time we would probably book a more modern up to date place with newer facilities.

When my husband said he had booked a weeks holiday for my 70th birthday in Corfu at the corifo village I was not very sure, but after arriving there I had no need to worry the two people in charge Susanne and Thanasis are absolutely lovely people nothing was ever to much trouble they even got me a cake and bottle of champagne for my birthday which was on the Greek night so it was marvellous. I would also like to thankSetiris and Pericles who looked after us for breakfast-lunch-supper and also our lovely cleaning lady I would recommend the Corifo village to anyone it’s a 10 out of 10 from us it’s not always the rooms etc that count but how you are treated that’s important.

Dear guests,
Thank you for your wonderful words, you are the people we are there for. We always try to offer unforgettable holidays at the beautiful island of Corfu. It's not always easy because of the many different characters.
We will keep our place like it is with something new every year, so you have a reason to come again every year to see the changes.
Thank you very much and see you again next year .

We stayed here at the end of July and were very impressed. The rooms are indeed basic, but spacious and cleaned daily. Linen and towels are also changed frequently. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The bar staff are charming, and the cleaners are diligent and thorough. The village is handy for town and the beach, and there is a supermarket 2 minutes walk away. The pool is large and clean and our boys loved it. What we enjoyed most was the relaxed and calm atmosphere of the place, great for families who want a fun, chilled break. We will definitely go back.

We booked an apartment at Harry’s bar last year with the understanding that we could use the pool at Corifo Village (this has been the case for many years). We visited the pool on our first day with no issues and again on the second day. After 3 hours of using the pool and purchasing drinks (for 6 of us), we were asked to pay €5 each per day to use the pool (an extra €30 a day just to use a pool!!). There were no signs about this new rule and when we questioned them, they passed responsibility to Harry’s Bar and said they should have told us. Absolutely ludicrous! You’d think they’d be happy if the extra custom.

Dear guests,
I am very sorry about your complain, but a swimming pool has a lot of cost and need a lot of service, our guest pay this with the room rate, and the guest from Harry's last years payed this with their consumption, but we cannot exist from 0,80 Cent each of 6 person. Also you forgot to say that there is a small beer 2,80 Euro or a soft drink 2,20 Euro inside the daily ticket for 5,00 Euro each. You have sunbeds and umbrellas free, in the beach you pay 2,50 for sunbed and 2,50 for umbrella.
So I think this is not to much for a daily ticket which you can use from 8:30 in the morning until 19:30 in the evening.
Thank you very much for your opinion but i think you have to be fair in this case.
