Arrived on 22 September 2018 for a week B/B stay. Met at reception at 9:30pm tired from our journey. Checking in was straightforward and our room was a good size. Sea view with good sized balcony and beautiful sunbathing terrace and newly built outdoor pool (see photos).

Breakfast had a wide range from cereals, continental, pastries, juices, omelettes. Criticism was hot food was not warm enough.

The hotel had an internal pool and bar albeit both small.

It was wonderfully quiet. No screaming children.

Criticisms

No T/Coffee making facilities in room, no bath, no bar,

Plus points

Clean, friendly staff, good food, quiet, very comfortable.

Would I come again?

Probably not but generally it was excellent value for money.

My husband and I with two friends stayed at the Hotel Eden last week. The reception staff mostly Goran are exceptional. Very knowledgeable about everything you should need to know from the buses to catch and what time they arrive and how long they take to get to locations to any issues you may find in your accommodation whilst you are staying there. We had an issue with our shower and the cleaner arrived within minutes and changed the shower head immediately. Our rooms where cleaned perfectly each day. Breakfast was a buffet style with everything you could think of. All staff are polite and friendly. The location of the hotel in our opinion was perfect away from the hustle and bustle of Split centre - actually by bus just 25 minutes away. Restaurants and shops nearby cater to your needs so there is no need to travel to find other amenities. The bus route takes you also to Omis and if you visit the Hotel Eden you must make the effort to go.

Room tip: If you book with Expedia you have a room without a balcony - Balcony's are a must to see the views.

Starting already good upon our arrival - a warm welcome and professional staff - we stayed in the recently (June 2018) finished new rooms with garden and sea view - room and sunsets just rock - unbelievable view, great comfort and a sneak walk to the beach and surrounding bars and beaches - the restaurant is a good alternative to any other restaurant around - prices are reasonable - Definetly worth every penny - and more !

We were in the newly opened part of the hotel underneath the pool in a sea view room. the room was large with a very large bed, was nicely decorated and a massive TV with Netflix (which someone had left logged onto their account).
However, there were a number of small niggly issues with the room: lights and switches not working; no bed-side tables; no extractor fan in the bathroom; an odd shower which meant that every time the shower was used the bathroom floor got soaked, and a very light in-room safe that could not be locked. There was no sea-view. The only window in the room was the ‘patio’ door that led to the outside area. This outside area was an alley way with a high concrete wall so our sea view was in reality a view of the wall. Great.
The hotel is described as being beach front. There is no beach, just a concrete platform at the bottom of some steps which do not look complete. Not what I consider a beach.

Breakfast was distinctly average. The tables were not set but just left bare – never seen this before. There was bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and omlette. Even at 7am at the commencement of breakfast these were lukewarm at best with either no or inadequate heating provided to hold them at a safe temperature. An invitation to food poisoning and would be strictly against the law in the UK. No worries though: I did not touch them after trying them on the first day.
The new part of the hotel is not complete yet.
Overpriced for what it is.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner and we LOVED our time at Eden! From the beginning , the staff was very friendly & accommodating . Room was cozy with nice sea view. But my absolute favorite part of our stay was the pool! We had a lovely time relaxing by it & having dinner overlooking the bay! Great stay and amazing service from everyone, especially Matko and Goran. Thanks so much Hotel Eden for making our first time in Croatia a memorable one!
