Well managed park with plenty of walks, many tarmacs, and a good cafe with tasty meals at reasonable prices.

Living on the doorstep of such a great resource is fabulous. Be it walking the dogs or taking the kids to the park. The cafè is great and the museum is a reminder of its industrial heritage.

On our last trip we found tadpoles a real Summer favourite trip in the lower lake. Great fun

I often use the Country Park to walk my dogs and have a quick coffee or bite to eat. However I love this place so much I decided to get married there and I can't thank the staff enough for all their help. It was amazing and just makes the place even more special to me.

I like very near so we are always up there for walks etc. Have even camped there in the summer months just for something to do. It is very basic but you get what you pay for which is basically a toilet block and showers however they are always kept very clean.
