“Perfect For A Romantic Evening”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 August 2012

My husband and I spent the one dinner we took away from our resort at Le St James, and we were so glad we did.

The food was fantastic (specifically the Tuna 5 ways) and the waterside table for 2 under the small canopy was a quiet little place for 2 newlyweds to whisper sweet nothings under the stars.

The service is relaxed, but if you're newlyweds like we were, there's hardly cause to mind!

“Our Best Meal in Bora Bora was here and not the Four Seasons”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 August 2012

We went to downtown from our resort to look for souvenirs . From previous TA reviews I wanted to try St James for lunch. About a 10 min walk from boat docks, food was excellent. We enjoyed a 3 course fixed price menu for lunch for under $60 for two. Service was slow and we probably wouldn't have minded had we not had to catch our boat back. Nice view. Menu : lobster salad starter, wahoo with sea urchin sauce for entree, vanilla ice cream for dessert. It was our best meal in Bora Bora. Highly reccomended if you can go. We didn't go to Bloody Mary's due to mixed reviews

“Amazing meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 July 2012

Went into town today via boat from our resort Four Seasons, we're advised to skip Bloody Marys and visit St James. I had the lobster which was out of this world! My boyfriend had the Tuna Steak, it was just as wonderful. It's a small place, service is very laid back. The staff very friendly. If in Vaitape, go ave a glass of wine, French bread with the amazing butter they offer with a sprinkle of saly and pepper on it, sit back and enjoy!

“Great for lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 July 2012

If you go to town for the day, shop for trinkets and head here for lunch. We had delicious tuna tartare, a tomato and goat cheese pastry and some of the best Mahi Mahi of our trip. Sit outside and enjoy the view.

“Wonderful and creative food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 July 2012

My husband an I are a bit of food snobs and this restaurant met our expectations. The st Jacques carpaccio was amazing and the black olive sorbet was a delicious and creative match. The papio was marvelous. The sauce was a wonderful mix with this delicious firm white fish. Lastly the corrosol ice cream was the effect ending to our meal. To top it off the restaurant is located on the water and has great romantic atmosphere.
