La Kupar Inn is aptly located at Cherrapunji. They have simple yet beautifully maintained rooms, clean and spacious bathrooms and a vast variety of cuisine that is cooked home style and deliciously.

The owner Mr Bensen, the Manager Mr John alongwith their spirited staff leave no stone unturned in looking after you.

The place is well connected to most of the sight seeing spots in and around Cherrapunji. Accessibility from Shillong is great with good roads. Do make it a point to book your stay here to make it a memorable one. You won't be disappointed at all.

It was the best and most memorable stay we had in beautiful Cherrapunjee all because of our comfortable and homely 4 nights stay in La Kupar Inn.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff polite and efficient and the food good and wholesome.
All the places of interest were easily accessible from our hotel.
The owner Mr Bansan Kupar and his manager Mr John were the most helpful and welcoming hosts who did everything to make our stay comfortable and pleasant.
The evenings were spent sitting around the cheerful bonfire exchanging travellers' tales with the other guests who were from different parts India.
We are already looking forward to our next sisters' get together.... La Kupar here we come

If you're on a budget, then this inn set against a beautiful backdrop of hills is one of the best places to stay. Cozy, comfortable rooms. The staff made us feel welcome right from the start. The food was home-cooked and reasonably priced. The bonfire in the evening was the best part of our stay at La Kupar. A small library with books added a nice touch for those wanting some quiet time amidst the beautiful scenery.

We visited La kuper inn recently. The staff is good and they are very particular about time. All the staff members are good and humble. The location is very convenient to visit popular site seeing points. A must visit place. Value for money.

La Kupar Inn is a cosy, value for money home stay / guest house in a tranquil location of Sohra or Cherrapunji.

The rooms are bright and decently spacious with a cheerful ambience. Staff is responsive and well groomed. The owner Bansan Kupar Lyngdoh has tried to give the place character.

Items ordered by us for dinner were tastefully prepared, though a vegetarian cannot say the same I respect of ordered breakfast items.

On the flip side, despite day breaking around 5am and 6 o'clock in the morning being a good time to start an excursion, neither can tea be supplied before 6:30 nor is an electric kettle provided in the room, yet. Also, if a group of say, a dozen is having breakfast or dinner, they are unable to serve other guests simultaneously. Lastly, when a group is dining and chats loudly, it is impossible for any other guests to rest.
