Every time I visit Sylhet, I try to visit and pray at this mosque with Hajrat ShahJalal shrine. You see a huge crowd and great atmosphere. Many people doing many wrong and backward acts, including some illegal activities. However, just doing ziayara and praying at the mosque is rewarding to say the least

We found the inner peace inside the place. The calmness cannot be explained in words. We donated some handful cash to needy and fed the gigantic fishes in the ponds. It was a relief from all stresses.

This Dorgah is the most crucial place in Sylhet. Many travelers visit Sylhet only to go this place. Many businesses are operating keeping this location at center.

Hazrat Shahjalal Mazar Sharif is a holy & historical place in Sylhet. The largest mosque in Sylhet was built at the Dargah (also one of the largest in Bangladesh). There are thousands of devotees visiting daily.

Hazrat Shahjalal Mazar is situated at Sylhet district in Bangladesh. It is famous for the grave of one of the famous Muslim saints in the region. His name was Shah Jalal ad-Din al-Mujarrad al Naqshbandi. He is locally known as Hazrat Shah Jalal. There are about three and sixty graves from different saints in Sylhet at present. That is the reason; Sylhet city is called Blessed land or Pobitro Nogori

It wont be ideal to write a review, not qualified to comment. But if you are willing to visit, go and seat peacefully inside the Dargah, you will get a different vibe.

Dargah gate opens after Fazr prayer and closes at around 10 to 11 pm at night, and the door remains close during prayer times, If possible spent the night in praying to Almighty Allah.

This is the famous holiest place for which Sylhet is famous for! You would find a sense of peace and tranquility inside your heart when you are inside and in pray but sadly the people has made it a place of big business! There are hundreds of money collection traps - most of which are not even supported by the instruction of Islam. I would suggest just to go there - pray at the graves and in the mosque. Remember, dead ones never need or seek your money. So spend wisely.
