This hotel is right on the seafront road across from the beach and a short walk from the port. The rooms are a little tired but clean and quiet at night. This was a budget stay and we were quite happy. Indeed, an error with our booking meant they helped us out and gave us a second room free of charge. Thanks! We did not eat here during the evening. Breakfast was very good with a wide range of food on offer. This was great value.

This hotel has been rated as average because we did not eat here in the evening. We wanted to explore and ate while we were out. The average rating should not put you off. After all, you get what you pay for and we didn't spend a great deal considering the location - E130 including breakfast for 3 people.

We spent 2 nights in a second floor, sea-view room that was entirely comfortable but absolutely dominated by the full height bay windows overlooking the sea, complete with small arm chairs to maximise enjoyment of the view. Although not a problem for us, more "substantially built" visitors would find the shower cubicle challengingly small. The hotel restaurant is absolutely first rate and a clear favourite with discerning locals. Seafood dominates the menu, and justifiably so in this busy little fishing port. Hotel has free wifi in the lounge area, but not in our room, and off road parking.

Room Tip: Second floor, sea view

We booked 2 rooms for 2 couples. The rooms had fantastic views and were spacious. The shower let it down, being so small that you could barely move in it! Unfortunately when we stayed there was an awful smell of drains throughout the second floor and at times in the rooms. The hotel were aware of this and had fans and doors open which did help a bit.

We hired bikes with the hotel which was easy but the bikes were a bit old, though fine for all the hills in Erquy!

A great hotel, could do with a bit of TLC, but fine for a couple of nights!

my wife and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, we found the staff very helpful. the room was comfortable with a great view of the harbour and sea shore. the room can be hot due to the sun and lack of windows that can be opened. the shower was tiny. we had our evening meals in the restaurant which were very good.
we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if and when we are in the area

We are in our late 70's so I booked room for 3 to gain some more room. The room allocated was on the 2nd floor and was on 2 levels connected by open, wooden stairs at 60 deg, narrow and steep. The lower level had a single bed, no side light and a very small bathroom with shower, no ventilation. The upper level had a double bed, a miniscule ward robe and 1 upright hard chair. No way could my wife climb down in the night so I told the reception it was unacceptable and was told there were no others free and we would leave. Suddenly she remembered another room but for 4 people. It was the same size and arrangement as the first except the lower level had a double bed with reading lights. Still the same size wardrobe and the single chair in a room supposedly for 4. We were tired so we took it. The breakfast was mediocre.
There appear to be no Health and Safety regulations in France, or they are ignored since the stairs are undoubtedly a hazard. The price at 120 Euros a night is exorbitant.
Avoid!
