“Mrs Roberts ”

Wow! Wow! Wow!
Beautifully designed for your comfortability. It is equipped with every kitchen utensil, which you could possibly use. Open plan living/kitchen area. A cozy bedroom with ensuite. Full of luxury for a relaxing holiday.
Has a small secluded garden with a fab hot tub to relax the evening away.

“Home from home in the heart of the forest”
Reviewed 5 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Purpose built lodge in the Forest of Dean. Absolutely stunning & spotless. All fittings are to the highest standard & the owners cannot do enough for you. Fitted with all mod cons, just through the churchyard to the local pub & down the road to Lidl for all your holiday extras. The hot tub is always heated & ready, plenty of room & our small dog was made to feel very welcome too. We would definitely make a return visit in the future. Lots of places to visit in the surrounding area.

“Perfect getaway in Forest of Dean”

An amazing getaway for couples. We arrived on Monday afternoon to be met by our hostess, Lisa, shown around the modern property which wants for nothing. Beautifuly appointed throuout it boasts open plan kitchen/dining and sitting room area with highest quality materials used throughout. Oak flooring and doors, wood burner and electric radiators, fltscreen tv, wi fi, modern top class kitchen units and fittings.

Nothing was too much trouble for our host who was always at the end of the phone without being intrusive. The local sites are too many to have seen in just 4 days but we visited Puzzlewood, Dean Steam Railway, Clearwell Caves and the Forest and then back for the evening in the sumptuous hottub which was kept to the highest standards.

The bedroom/bathroom were the same high standards as the rest of the property with modern high quality fittings and plentiful hot water from the rainforest shower.

A perfect getaway close to all of the amenities and tourist attractions with the added advantage of being pet free. We are dog lovers however some places we have stayed in the past havehad remenents of the previous visitors which has spoilt our stay. Dog free this property has no such problems and must be commended for this.

We will certainly be returning to this lovely retreat and are making plans already.
