This is the only true park in the broader area of Thessaloniki. The park is locate at a earthern dam, so there are 2 small lakes and pinus forest around it. It has a well-located but nothing special coffee place and a play ground (medium condition). But the kids can walk around in the nature and play. Sometimes they can also ride ponnies.
Although its popular attraction is the domestic ducks and geeses, there are more than 100 bird species recorded. You can also enjoy other mammals,such as toads, squirrels and foxes.
The climate is excellant and refreshing, especially during summer. You should avoid going there an hour before dusk in order to avoid mosquitoes.

This is an excellent place to stay for a coffee, drink, snacks etc in a big cafeteria and there's a kids playground next to that. You can also enjoy a stroll among the trees, where is a dam with ducks and water turtles. Try it!

this place is ideal on hot days, with the kids if you want to go somewhere close to the city but in the country too. Has facilities for kids and a cafeteria which can get very busy.
