Ate here on two nights as the rest of the town seemed shut. Dishes are plentiful and well prepared. Recommended for a reasonable night out in pleasant surroundings. Quite a number of local people eat here which in itself says a lot

Reading other reviewers' eulogies about this place being on the Loire, I expected something pretty.
It is basically a shed, & 2 relevant sides are an urban road, and what looks like a crappy little canal.
Staff friendly & flexible.
Not cheap for what it is, or tasty ... Just about OK, but you'd have thought I'd passed wind in her face from the expression on the cashier's face when she asked how the pizza was, and I said it was OK, but soggy in the middle.
I went for a pee, after paying the cashier, intending to have a smoke, & a glass of water before I left, only to find my space was being cleared, with no queuing customers, and ambling off was my only option.

This is a perfectly average place, a cutesy terrace and river views are let down by a rough menu and food that is easy to dislike.

The basic remit is that of an Italian restaurant however there are fusion themes at work such as the addition of potatoes, mustard and creme-fraiche to pizzas which frankly do not work.

Yes I am sure we could have chosen more carefully so some of our disappointment is self inflicted, but even when the dish was comprised of ingredients 100% to your liking the execution or quality of ingredients was below par. Add in an average bottle of wine and this is €80+ for four and so needs to be better.

Definitely recommend this place! The pizza and salads were great. There were vegetarian options, as well. The wine list was short but decent, and they offered some in half bottles. We enjoyed the Sancerre rosé with our meal.

Needed somewhere to feed the family fast as it was the end of a long day. Easily the busiest restaurant in town but despite that and only two waitresses were served and had eaten within an hour. Usual Italian Pizza and pasta fare with French touch cooked in proper wood burning oven. Was what was required at a reasonable price €60 for 4.
