I stayed at the Pefki Islands Resort for one week at the start of June 2016. I had great expectations of the place based on the reviews but was slightly disappointed overall.
Given the amount that we paid we were very disappointed with how basic the rooms were. The bed, although large, was very uncomfortable and the pillows were a disgrace. They were so lumpy it felt like the actual pillow had broken into several pieces. I didn't manage to get a decent nights sleep the whole time I was there. Bathroom, bedroom & kitchenette are in desperate need of modernisation. The room itself was clean - maids come in every day except Sunday. You have to pay extra for the air con (65 euro per week) and the safe was (45 euro if I remember correctly) which I thought was very expensive! We stay in room 133 which is an underground room. Our 'balcony' can be overseen by people looking down when they pass on the way to supermarket/each etc. This meant that we had to keep our curtains closed the whole time should we have needed any privacy.
The pool area was nice with plenty of sun loungers available no matter what time you surfaced in the morning. The pool are was also nice and clean and the food at the pool bar was great value for money.
There is a supermarket on site with lots of food and drink options if you wanted to stock up your fridge and eat in. I did find it a little expensive though.
There is 'free wifi' at the only place I could actually pick it up was in the reception and the pool area.
On a plus side the resort is a stones throw from the beach and aprox 10-15 minute walk from the main 'strip' where there are lots of nice restaurants and bars.
