Just returned home after two weeks in Pefki Island. We are a family of four with two girls 17 and 20 they loved it too.This hotel was brilliant .It was spotless,all the staff were very friendly and helpful. All five pools are fab,but Kostas pool bar had the best atmosphere he was good fun and very friendly.The beach is very close which is lovely and Pefkos was the perfect resort with many bars and restaurants to suit everyone's taste.We have had one of the best holidays ever.I would definately recomend this hotel and Pefkos to anyone.The only down side is as most other people have mentioned is the fact you have to pay for air con! Thanks to you all for a really special holiday. We will definatley be back!!!

We have just returned from a fabulous 2 weeks in Pefki Islands and we had an amazing time. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, they are a credit to the GM Mr Stavroulis. Maria from house-keeping greeted us each morning with such a welcoming smile and the studios were always spotless. Clean towels and bedlinen every-day far exceeded our expectations. I am fortunate to have stayed in many 5* hotels around the world and would happily place Pefki Islands in the same bracket as them.

Bar staff Lucas and Kostas kept us entertained each day, and I shall particularly miss Kosta's daily rendition of Barry Manilow's "Oh Mandy" to a fellow holiday guest. Music was at an acceptable level all the time with nice variety. so much that I hardly used my iPod when by the pool. No need to rush out and grab a sun-bed either, there are always plenty available at whatever pool you wanted to use, and we were there in peak-season. The Hotel Blue was the most tranquil, but we preferred to stay in Pefki Islands. All bars offered a good selection of snacks and light meals.

A short walk down some shaded steps leads to a beautiful soft sandy beach, with crystal clear waters perfect for swimming and very safe for children. Fresh waters showers at all pools and on the beach were very welcome too. Plenty of sunbeds on the beach too.

Elia restaurant at Hotel Blue offers good value for money and we ate there several times.

A short walk takes you into Pefkos itself and other restaurants I can highly recommend are Lee Beach for lunchtime snacks (on the beach), and my favourite had to be Kyma (next door to Lee Beach) for it's amazing views and fine dining experience. Try their drunken shrimps - delicious! Also Dama Dama, Peperoncino and Enigma are worth a visit, but avoid Red Dragon - worst Chinese I have ever had. After an hours wait we discovered our starter had been given to someone else, main courses were cold and all looked the same. service atrocious!

All in all an excellent experience and i will definitely be back!!

Decided to book our holiday at pefki islands resort on the strength of the brilliand reviews, and we weren't disappointed!! after arriving during the small hours of the morning we were pleasantly surprised at the generous size of our two bed appartment, it had everything you needed, the hotel left a chilled bottle of water which was most welcome and a nice touch.
Also nice to find a pool bar in the resort open for a drink and a chill before bed.
Our two boys loved the pool there were a few to choose from , we varied our time between three, we generaly ended up at Kostas pool bar for happy hour at 4, and we had some laughs , lots of people return year after year and we could see why! Kostas was a real character and kept us entertained throughout our stay, especially loved his rendition of "mandy"!! .
Something we don't do is return to the same place , but with pefki islands we might make an exception!
As a whole we found the place very clean, welcoming and relaxing, the entertainment team made such an effort with everyone, we would like to mention Alan , he was very good and always made a point of saying hello and getting everyone involved .
The beach was lovely , the sea was warm and shallow , snorkling was brilliant, we had two wonderfull weeks soaking up the greek hospitality , couldn't recommend this place enough!
If we had to add a downside it would be the cost of air conditioning, although we knew about it after reading reviews, we just thought it a pity that it couldn't be standard
